教学过程
Step 1. Greetings and warm-up activities
Ask the students to sing a song: Happy New Year.
Step 2. Watch the cartoon
T: In China, years have names. Each year has a animal name. (课文导入)
Step 3. Listening and vocabulary
Play the recording in part 1.
Play it again and ask the students to check the words they hear.
Check the answers with the whole students.
Step 4. Let’s do it
Ask the students to answer the questions in PPT.
Step 5. Speaking
Work in pairs. Ask and answer the questions in the pictures.
A: What holiday do you know?
B: The Spring Festival.
A: What will you do?
B: I will make dumplings and play fireworks.
Step 6. Homework
Copy the words and text of Lesson 20.
Recite the text well and practice the words.
教学反思
靠持续不断的语言知识,而不是“玩”来培养学生持久的兴趣。小学英语教学是要重视培养兴趣,但不能单靠唱歌和玩游戏,单靠唱和玩不能培养学生持久的兴趣。新鲜劲过去,孩子们就会厌倦。所以,唱歌游戏应该作为小学生英语语言知识技能的一些手段、而不是培养兴趣的手段。我们可以采用多种手段帮助小学生在记忆力强的时期多记单词,多学习语言规则,并尽可能多创造模仿的机会,提高学生的语音和语调。在英语学习中,听、说、读、写、译物种能力是可以互补的。真正做到听说先行,读写跟上。光听说不读写,很难收获高效。只靠模仿不培养学习能力也难减轻学习负担。所以小学生还是应该认真进行语言学习。
