This is the fourth lesson in this unit. The main topic is making a snowman, so improving the students’ abilities of listening and talking about the topic of winter fun is very important.

课前准备

教学过程
Step 1. Greetings and warm-up activities
Ask the students to answer the questions: Would you like to play in the snow?
What would you like to play?
What is your fun in winter?
Step 2. Watch the cartoon and answer the questions
T: Let’s make a snowman. (课文导入)
Questions: What do they use for the snowman’s mouth?
What do they use for his ears?
Does the snowman have any legs or face?
Step 3. Listening and vocabulary
Play the recording in part 1.
Play it again and ask the students to check the words they hear.
Check the answers with the whole students.
Step 4. Let’s do it
T: Do you like to make snowballs and throw them? Did you make a snowman last winter? Let’s make a snowman.
Ask the students to retell how to make a snowman.

Step 5. Speaking
