Lesson 13 Let′s Count 教学设计
一、Teaching Aims:
1. Knowledge Aims:
(1) Enable pupils to master the words freely: from one to ten.
(2) Enable pupils to understand the structure of “How many …?” and use it orally.
2. Ability Aims:
(1) Enable pupils to use “How many …?” in the real situation.
(2) To develop pupils basic ability of listening, speaking and observing.
3. Emotional Aims:
(1) To train pupils spirit of cooperation and consciousness of competition.
(2) To train the pupils interest in English and arouse their study motivation.
二、The key points:
(1) To enable pupils to master the numbers freely.
That is: one, two, three, four ,five,six, seven,eight, nine and ten.
(2) To enable pupils to grasp the structure of “How many …?” freely in a real situation.
三、Difficult points:
How to understand the pattern sentence: “How many …?” and communicate with each other. In order to solve the difficult points. I design some games and let the pupils act in groups to finish the teacher′s task.

Step 1 Warm-up
1. Greeting
2. Sing a song: “Hello” with the pupils.
Step 2 Review
1.Say out the words: dog and cat according to the teacher′s actions.
2. Do actions to review the words: dog, cat.
3. Have a chant
A for ruler B for car
C for cat D for dog E for eraser
Step 3 Presentation
1. Teacher show the cards, and ask pupils: “How many …?”(write the sentence and words on the blackboard.)
2. Teach the words from one to ten, Such as:
one↑one↑one↓
two↑two↑two↓
three↑three↑three↓
four↑four↑four↓
five↑five↑five↓
3. Teacher show the finger and ask “How many?”.
Step 4 Practice
1.Play the tape and have the chant .
2. Play a game: guessing.
Show pupils a bag take out something form it quickly and ask them ,guess how many?
3. According to Part 3, practice in groups.
Step 5 Consolidation .
learn “Listen, say and do”read it with action.
learn the sentence “How many…can you see?
Show the cards ask “How many fish can you see?
I can see …ruler. (write the sentence on the blackboard.)
Everyone clap the hands and say “How many ruler can you see?,then teacher say “stop” and point to someone,he should answer it according the cards.
Let′s find
Show a picture ask pupils” What can you see?”and “How many…can you see?”
Step 6 Homework
Count from 1to 10 for your parents.
