解读学生 学情分析 八年级的学生已经掌握了一定的词汇和阅读量,也懂得一定的阅读技巧,但是不能放松,还要继续较强阅读方法的训练。这是本书的第十一模块,学生在第二模块学习了My hometown 关于英国的一些关于地理、人口和风景名胜的介绍的文章,已经对英国有了初步的认识。从语言角度而言,学生通过第一课的听、说、读、练,学会运用情态动词来表示对风俗习惯的谈论的方式。从文章结构而言,学生已经简单学习过陈述事情和表达看法的文章结构,但是对于表示风俗习惯的文章写作还没有接触过,平时有部分同学也没有积累对于外国风俗习惯方面的知识,所以这一课也要进行背景知识的输入。
解读教材 教材分析 外研版八年级(上)M11U2,In England,you usually drink tea with milk.主要谈论王辉在英国所看到的英国人的生活方式和习惯,要求学生能够运用情态动词must\can 等句子结构来谈论关于某个地区的日常行为习惯和风俗等。课文情境生动地表现出了英国人的素质,展示了他们绅士友好的一面。综述全文,既展示出了英国人的生活场景,风俗习惯,也通过这些细节的展示,给读者们呈现出了英国人的素质和个性特征,也告诉我们要入乡随俗的道理,并且也给我们传递了尊重别人的文化,尊重别人的生活方式的思想。
教学目标 语言能力:能正确使用must\should\can 等来谈论风俗习惯。如You must do sth….You can do sth…..学生通过小组讨论、探讨并通过鱼骨图等把课文的核心内容呈现出来。学习能力:能借助略读、寻读、思维导图等手段明确语篇的主题意义,获取相关信息 ;能根据关键短语和词语来谈论本课的主题。 文化意识:能够通过文章的风俗习惯和生活方式看到英国的文化内涵和人文素养,懂得包容别人,理解别人,尊重不同的文化。 思维品质:能在读前、读中、读后活动链中开展积极的思维训练产生思维碰撞。
教学重点 1. 能够运用阅读策略Prediction/Skimming/Scanning对文章进行预测、获取文章主旨大意、理解文章细节等能力。 2. 能够借助图片,通过小组合作进行课文深层内涵的理解,掌握情态动词can和must的使用。
教学难点 能够结合实际生活,使用情态动词在写作表达中,模仿写出关于中国人的生活方式的作文。
