本课是三年级英语上册的第七课，从本课开始学习英语语音，从拼音闭音节单词开始来学习。本课重点句型是Is it……?要求学生学会一般疑问句的用法，能够根据问句写出答语。本课的对话是围绕着主题句展开的，是对前面知识的综合运用及对学生能力提升的锻炼。

能听懂会用日常交际用语，并能运用所学的句型进行对话：Is it a…? No, it isn’t.
【能力目标】
（1）能够通过师生说、两两说和自主听读体验交际式英语教学的一般过程，掌握英语说听的基本方法；
（2）能够通过两两说和综合说体验合作学习的过程和方法；
（3）能够仔细倾听老师和同学的发言，有语言表达和与同学交流的愿望。
