2) I’m not sure. It is said that There is no Standard English Phonetics Test in the United States. Because Americans come from all over the world and English in America has different voice, the people in America in different states speak English with their accents.
3) I know that November 11, 1620 Puritans arrived in North America from England on the Mayflower due to persecution by the Anglican Church. Therefore, American English originated from British English. But it has changed in pronunciation and writing.
3. How many kind of English do you know?
1) In my opinion, there many kinds of different English, such as British English, American English, Australia English, Canadian English, New Zealand English, Indian English, ...
2) There are more than 170 countries in the world speaking English.
3) There are about 70 countries use English as their official language besides the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, but their English has their own characteristics of accent.
4. What does it mean dialects?
1) It means Fang Yan in Chinese, and in English, it means a kind of local language with characteristic used by a specific group of people.
2) Dialect is a local variant of a language, which differs from standard language and is only used in one region.
3) Dialect is a branch of a language that has evolved through history in different places and is used in certain areas.
