“No, ” said the man. “If I do, you will eat me. ”
“I will not eat you, ” the tiger said. “Please let me out. ”
At last, the man believed it. When the tiger jumped out, it roared at the man and was ready to eat him.
“Wait!” the man cried. “You ought not to eat me. Let us ask others what they think. ”“OK. You can ask three others, ” the tiger said. The man asked a tree. The tree said, “I give shade. And yet people cut me down. Let the tiger eat you. ” Next, the good man asked a bird. The bird said, “I hurt no one. Yet people hunt and kill me. Let the tiger eat you. ”
The third one the man asked was a road. The road said, “I don’t care if the tiger eats you. People could not get along too well without me. Yet all day and all night people step on me without even a ‘thank you’. ”
The tiger was ready to eat the good man. Just then a dog came by. The man told the dog the whole story.

“I was in the cage!” the tiger cried. “In this way. ” saying that, he jumped back into the cage.

A squirrel(松鼠)that was nearly killed nine years ago continues to visit the family that saved, raised and later sent her into the wild.
In October 2009, a four-week-old squirrel was almost killed by an owl(猫头鹰). Luckily a wildlife rescue group saved her and left her in the care of Brantley Harrison and her family in South Carolina. The Harrisons often look after wild animals and later send them back into the wild.
The Harrisons named her Bella. With three other squirrels, Bella stayed in Brantley’s care until spring. During her stay Bella acted similarly to the other squirrels. In April 2010, the squirrels were sent back into the wild. Bella, however, wasn’t ready to leave her human family. Within days of being released, she started visiting them, looking for treats. Brantley said that the other squirrels also came back over the first few days, but within a week they stopped coming by and began to avoid people. ?
“Bella usually sits at the front door, waiting for someone to notice her. She comes almost every day. ” said Brantley. Her husband John often brings Bella nuts as she is usually waiting by the door for him. Actually Bella has become a member of the family.

The life of the animals in the zoo is different from that in the wildlife park.
In the zoo, most of the animals are very sad. They have to stay in cages all day and wait for the zoo keepers to feed them. They can’t go out of the cages, so they have to walk round and round.
However, the wildlife park is a good place for them. All the animals there live in the open air. They can run, jump and play happily, and look for food by themselves. They are protected there because people are not allowed to hunt. The most important thing is that they are free and happy in the wildlife park.
Most of the animals in the wildlife park are friendly. But some are scary, such as lions, wolves and tigers. Don’t worry. A special bus can take you to see the animals. You are quite safe inside the bus.

In some parts of the world there are large deserts. There aren’t trees or water in these places. Travellers must take food and water with them. The only animal that can walk through the desert is the camel. It can go without food or water for a long time, and it can carry heavy things. People call the camel“the ship of the desert”. The camel is very big. It has one or two humps on its back, short ears and a long neck. The camel can hold water in twelve deep pockets. Each pocket has a mouth, and the food doesn’t mix with the water. When the camel wants some water, it can get it out of the pockets.

书面表达【参考范文】
Many wild animals have already died out and hundreds of others are becoming endangered. So it is necessary to protect wild animals. If nothing is done, we may find ourselves alone on the earth.
Wild animals are endangered for many reasons. Firstly, the forests where wild animals live are being destroyed. As a result, a lot of animals are losing their habitats. Secondly, many animals are dying out because of pollution. Besides, too much hunting also causes the disappearance of certain species of wild animals.
In my opinion, the government should keep people from destroying forests and shut down the factories which pollute rivers and air. And more wildlife centres should also be set up.
