Warm-up: Greeting.
Review : Yesterday we have talked about American Festivals. They are Flag Day and Thanksgiving Day. What do people do on Flag Day/ Thanksgiving Day?(呈现重点词汇,引导学生进行回顾)

Lead-in: 接着呈现Simon 的图片,问What’s Simon’s favourite festival?
How about you ? What’s your favourite festival?(引导学生回答,并揭示今天的课题。)

Activity 2: Our favourite festival is the Spring Festival. Today we are going to talk about Chinese Festivals. Please listen and answer,
How many festivals? What are they?( 播放音频,让学生带着问题去观看视频,并回答)

紧接着让学生自由读课文,并回答:
What do people do on these festivals?

At the Mid-Autumn Festival , we eat mooncakes. Do we eat “dragon cakes ” at the Dragon Boat Festival?(把Activity 1 融入一起,呈现端午节)

接着谈论剩余两个节日。



接着操练最后一个节日中出现的after. 并学习before, 让学生了解中国四大传统节日的顺序。

Homework: Read the text.
