一、单词讲解：
1. daily：作形容词时，相当于everyday; 作副词时，相当于every day。 EG: He needs daily exercise.
2. seldom：很少；不常，seldom=hardly=rarely, 意为“很少；几乎不”，它们都是表示否定含义的副词。
3. enjoy：喜欢；享受，后面接动名词形式，enjoy oneself 意为“玩得高兴”
4. end：【v】结束, EG: The class will end at 5 p.m.
【n】最后部分；末尾, EG: at the end of... 在……的尽头, in the end=at last终于；最后
5. practice：【n】练习， practise：【v】练习；操练，后接动名词形式
二、短语讲解
1. remember to do sth.记得去做某事，指即将要做的事情，还没有做。
remember doing sth.记得做过某事，指事情已经做过了。
2. help sb. with sth.在某一方面帮助某人 EG: I helped them with this job.
help sb. to do sth.=help sb. do sth. 帮助某人做某事
EG: Susan helps her mother to clean the house. =Susan helps her mother clean the house.
拓展：can’t help doing sth. 忍不住做某事 help oneself to sth. 随便用或吃某物
3. take part in: 参加， EG: I often take part in some activities afterschool.
辨析：take part in, attend, join, join in

用法
take part in
指参加会议或群众性活动等，指句子主语参加该项活动并在其中发挥了作用。
attend
参加会议或仪式、婚礼、葬礼、典礼、上课、上学、听报告等，强调的是发生这一动作本身，不强调参加者在活动中所起的作用。
join
指加入某个组织或团体，成为其成员之一，如参军、入团、入党等。
join in
指参加比赛或活动等，常用于口语。表示“加入到某些人的行列并一起从事某种活动”时用 join sb. in sth.。

【拓展】 go to bed“去睡觉”，表示瞬时性意义 EG: I won’t go to bed until you come back.
fall asleep=go to sleep“入睡”，表示瞬时性意义 EG: It’s too noisy outside. I can’t fall asleep.
be asleep“睡着了”，表状态，表示延续性意义 EG: Be quiet! The baby is asleep.
6. arrive at=reach=get to 到达
辨析：arrive, reach与get

arrive与介词at或in连用，后面接到达的地方，arrive at接小地方，arrive in接大地方。
reach
及物动词，不需要搭配介词，后面直接接到达的地方。
get
常与介词to连用，后面接到达的地方；

A Day At School
Hello every one. I am Sam, a junior high school student. I love going to school. My school is close to my home, so I always go to school on foot. Classes start at 8 a.m., and I am seldom late. My favorite subject is geography because I enjoy learning about different places in the world.
In the morning, we usually study Chinese, Math and English. We have our morning break at 9:50 a.m. When the bell rings, I run to the playground with my best friends Tom and Jack. Break ends at 10:10 a.m. How short it is!
