Step 1 Warming up and greeting
T:Good afternoon boys and girls.Ss: Good afternoon teacher.
T:Nice to meet you . Ss：Nice to meet you,too.
T:How are you? Ss: Fine,thank you.
复习旧知识引入新知识。教师呈现单词图片让学生读单词。学生做头脑风暴训练，快速说出：
Old ,young,funny,kind,strict,hard-working,helpful,clever,shy，polite等词。

Step2 Presentaion(呈现新知）
T:Now,look at the PPT,please.呈现姚明和另一运动员的图片。
T:Who’s he ?Do you know?Ss:Yao Ming.
教师用肢体语言引导学生说出，He’s tall.另一运动员个子矮，He’s short.
让学生感知What’he like ?的 含义。
T:What’he like ? Ss:He’s tall.He’s short.
PPT再呈现old--young ,fat--thin ,beautiful,funnyde的图片，让学生继续感知What’he like ?的含义。
T:Now ,let’s go on our new learn.Uite one What’s he like Part B Let’s learn .
PPT呈现文本图片，让学生听录音回答问题。
T:What’s Wu Yifan like? 听不懂可以再放一遍录音。教师引导学生回答。He’s hard-working.
教授hard-working,教师先让学生感知，然后模仿朗读，最后掌握语音‘含义，并能够运用自然表达。
同样的方法引出helpful,clever,shy，polite等词。

Step 3 Practice
教师说口令让学生练习对话：Listen to the tape and repeat. Read together.Read in parts.Read in pairs.Read by yourself .Try to recite it .
教师引导学生做替换练习，两两一组。教师依次提问。检查掌握情况。
教师引导学生会用人称代词替换人名的句型What’s he like?及其答语He’s...
PPT呈现图片：聪明的一休， 害羞的女孩等图片让学生操练含有人称代词的句型，表示人物体貌特征和性格特点。
Match and say
教师留给学生时间讨论并连线。检查答案并两两合作操练句型。
教师通过PPT展示 让学生知道单数用is，复数用be动词are.
PPT 展示图片继续操练be动词单数和复数之分。

Step4 Consolidation
Brainstorm 头脑风暴
教师先让学生自己想，讨论看谁说的单词多，然后引导学生说出更多的单词。
PPT展示单词，让学生大声读出来，接着玩missing 游戏，看看谁说的准。
利用这些单词，引导学生介绍自己。

参照单词：young,funny,kind,strict,hard-working,helpful,clever,shy，polite，tall, short, friendly, quite,pretty等词。
Introduce your classmates .介绍同学。（四人一组讨论）

情感教育：

Step5 Summry and homework
教师引导学生两两讨论这节课学了什么。提问学生自己说出所学内容。
Homework:
Listen and repeat the new words and dialogue .(注意语音语调）
Describe your friends and write it down.At least five sentences.
