学生能熟读并掌握十二月份的单词及运用句型When is your birthday?来进行句型的问答。 （二）过程与方法
根据情景教学法，对话法，学生能在牢固地掌握巩固练习十二个月份的单词及When is your birthday?句型等知识点。
（三）情感、态度与价值观
通过有趣的活动，培养学生对英语的学习兴趣以及培养学生的合作意识。
【教学重点】
1. 进一步巩固十二个月份单词及When is your birthday句型的学习；
2. 学会运用Happy birthday!致以生日问候及Where are you from? / How old are
you? / What’s your favorite...？等相互交流个人信息；

对句型的运用与问答。

Step 1 Greetings

1同学齐声朗读12月份对应的英语单词。
2学生用when is your birthday？进行问答。
Step 2 Let's read
1. 教师介绍新朋友Alison, Cathy, Bill, John, Mark, Sandra，并引导学生试着利用图中的线索猜猜每个孩子的生日分别在哪个月。
2. 师生共同核对答案，可采用对话形式，如；When is Alison’s birthday? Alison’s birthday is in...
Step 3 Let's play
1. 教师出示Pit的生日日期卡片，向学生介绍：Today is Pit’s birthday. 引导学生大声说出：Happy birthday! Pit给出回答: Thank you!
2. 老师让学生扮演Pit并进行分组活动，进行对话练习，事后选出几组进行表演和展示，老师给出适当评价。
Step 4 Let's listen
1. 师生自由对话，如：How old are you? Where are you from? When’s your birthday? What’s your favorite color? 等为后面的学习做好准备和铺垫。
2. 学生读句子，独立完成排序；播放录音，学生自行核对答案后，师生共同核对答案。
3. 学生分组活动表演对话，老师鼓励学生在书本对话的基础上创编新的对话，并挑选几组学生进行演示，给出适当的评价。
Step 5 Pairwork
1. 师生自由对话，如：How old are you? Where are you from? Have you got a pet? ...
2. 老师先将书上的答句重新编排，让学生尝试连线。
Have you got a pet? It’s green.
Do you like your yellow T-shirt? My favorite day is Saturday.
What’s your favorite color? It’s in March.
What’s your favorite day? Yes, a cat.
When is your birthday? Yes, I do.
3. 学生听对话，并与同桌操练对话，老师引导学生在原有对话的基础上创编新的对话。
4. 学生分组练习，老师巡视并加以指导，选出2-3组同学进行演示并加以评价。
