教学目标：
1、 学生能读懂会说单词top, peak, squirt, said, rab-bot。句子Why are you ...? What are you doing ...?Are you ...?
2、学生能正确运用句型What is it then? It’s not ... . It’s .... 培养学生语感，训练学生的语言表达能力。
3、通过观察封面、内页等图片，学生能理解绘本传达的信息、意境，并借助box的个性创意，培养学生丰富的想象力。
4、引导学生了解绘本的相关文化知识，培养他们爱读书的好习惯。
教学重点：

I. Warming-up.
1. Greeting.
Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today? I love reading. Do you love reading? Today, Let’s read an interesting book together, Ok?
2. Guessing game.
Before we read it ,Let’s play a guessing game:What’s this?
(1) Rectangle: What is this ?
(2) Box: What is it?
(3) What’s in the box?
Let’s open it and look .Wow a lovely rabbit. It’s sitting in the box.
II. Talk about the picture book Not a box.
P1. Can you guess why it is sitting in the box?
Teach: It’s not a box. It’s … .
Wow, what is it? It’s a car, it’s not a box. The rabbit is
sitting in a car.
P2.And now, where is the rabbit? It’s on the box .
Teach: It’s on the top of that box.
It is a box? Sure? Some of you say no, what is it then ?(Ss guess)
Are you right? Let’s ask the rabbit: Teach: What are you doing on the top of that box?
It’s not a box, it’s Rabbit Peak.
P3.The rabbit is standing on the top of that box, maybe it’s shouting:” I’m the winner.” But now ,what is it doing?
Teach: said，squirting.
P4.The rabbit is squirting the burning building. It is a fireman because it is wearing a fire helmet. Look, what is it wearing now? A box? It’s not a box.well,what is it ?
Teach :rab-bot =rabbit+robot
P5. But now it is still standing around in the box?Why？ What does it think about?
Ss: It’s not a box, it’s … .
Maybe you are right. Let’s look. Wow It’s a pirate
ship, hot fire balloon, howdah and ship. It’s Not
Not Not Not a box.
Teach: It’s Not Not Not Not a box.

Teach: rocket. Well what is it then ?
III. Listen and read the picture book.
1.Listen and mime.
2.Read by yourself.
3.Read and number.
IV. Guess and know.
1.Guess the name of the book.
2.Introduce the book and the writer.
V. Summary.
