He Yufeng is an authentic farmer by Gongshui River in Yanqing, Beijing.
"When I was young, the Gongshui River was very clear. Later, there was more and more rubbish. I was so sad. ” She says. Since 1996, He Yufeng has been collecting rubbish for 23 years while walking around the river.

At first, her neighbors did not understand her and taunted her as “rubbish grandmother”. Because of her insistence (坚持）, more and more people were touched.
And people around her call her "environmental protection grandmother” rather than “rubbish grandmother”.

Today, she has set up a “Sunset Transmission" Environmental Volunteer Service Team, which has thousands of volunteers.
