Step1、warming up
1、 Free talk
2、 What’s missing?(少了什么?)
复习已学过的身体部位及形容词。
3、 出示小蝌蚪图片,师问:What are they?生答:小蝌蚪。
Step2、Presentation
1、 由上图导出今天所学新课。接上一问题,师说:Yes,they’re tadpoles. Do you know the story about little tadpoles looking for mum?师说:ok!Today we read this story again. First, look at the question:what do tadpoles‘ mother look like?Now let’s listen story together.
2、 幻灯片出示小蝌蚪遇到鸭妈妈,询问自己的妈妈长得什么样?鸭妈妈给出信息是:white belly。师板书white belly。请同学们重复这一信息:She has white belly。
3、 带着鸭妈妈提供的信息开始找妈妈,首先,他们遇到大白鹅,大白鹅提供的信息是:a big mouth。师板书。领读蝌蚪妈妈的特征的句子。
4、 小蝌蚪又踏上了找妈妈的路程,这次他们遇到了鲤鱼,鲤鱼提供的线索是:four long legs and big eyes,师板书。师领读描述蝌蚪妈妈特征的句子。
5、 接着他们遇到了乌龟,乌龟提示:wears green clothes。
6、 最后他们找到了妈妈。
7、 综合蝌蚪找妈妈的过程,找同学说出蝌蚪妈妈的特征。继续练习描述人物或动物特征的句子。
Step3、Practice
1、 出示鸵鸟图片用It has…句型练习。
2、 调整气氛放松心情齐唱英文歌。
3、 再一次回归故事,师领读。
4、 师生分角色朗读对话。
5、 通过学习故事进行情感渗透,出示图片,倡导孩子们爱护动物,保护环境:Protect the frog!Protect animals!Protect the environment!
