3. What should we do first if a earthquake happens?
1)First, we should keep our head clear and find the place of the triangle area nearby to protect ourselves, under the furniture, or in the corner, for example.
2)If a earthquake happens, we should cut off the power switch, turn off the gas, and temporarily avoid to the place with small span or under the table bed. And after the earthquake, evacuate quickly to prevent aftershocks.
3)If there are too many people, first find a hiding place to hide under the desk, chair or solid objects immediately, then evacuate in order.
4)Keep away from the dangerous area, protect the head with both hands, and keep away from buildings, cliffs, steep slopes, riverbanks and high-voltage lines. Keep physical strength and calm when buried.

Yes, I do. I know the earthquakes. The two quakes are all big earthquakes, and many people lost their lives, many families were broken.
2. What do you think will happen before an earthquake?
1) It is said that some abnormal phenomena appear before an earthquake, such as the groundwater anomalies, the earthquake sound light, the earthquake cloud appear, and the meteorological anomaly, the muggy before earthquake etc.
2) Someone said that the animal behaviour anomaly appear before earthquake. Such as cattle and horses panic, dogs howls endlessly, cats panic, chicken, ducks and geese do not enter the frame, ducks and geese do not go into the water. Yes, I do. The Wenchuan earthquake happened on 12th May 2008.
4. What do you know about the Wenchuan earthquake?
The Wenchuan earthquake severely damaged more than 100 thousand square kilometers. A total of 69227 people were killed, 374643 injured and 17923 missing in the earthquake.
It was the most devastating earthquake since the founding of our country. It was also the most serious earthquake after the Tangshan earthquake.
5. Can you say something about Yushu earthquake?
On 14th April 2010, there were six times earthquakes occurred in Yushu City, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province.
The earthquake had killed 2698 people, including 2687 confirmed people, there were 11 unnamed bodies, and 270 people were missing.
6. What will you take with you if you have time to take only one thing when the earthquake happens?
I think we’d better take some water if we can.
7. Why would you take the thing you want to?
I want to take water because water is the source of our lives. If we didn't eat for three days, we can be still alive, but if we didn't drink for three days, our lives will run out.
8. Have you ever heard the Tangshan earthquake?
Yes, I have. It was a very very big earthquake that happened 41 years ago. It was one of the worst earthquake disasters of the twentieth Century.
9. When did the Tangshan earthquake happen?
It happened on 28th July 1976. The great earthquake caused Tangshan, an industrial town with a population of millions, to be wiped out, instantly razed to the ground.
10. Do you know how many people lost in the Tangshan earthquake?
In the great earthquake, there were about more than 240 thousand fresh lives were buried in the rubble.
II. Give a brief summary of the three earthquakes we discussed.
The sample:
Just now, we discussed the earthquakes which are the Wenchuan earthquake, Yushu earthquake and the Tangshan earthquake. All the three quakes are all big or great earthquakes, and many people lost their lives, many families were broken.
The Wenchuan earthquake happened on 12th May 2008. it severely damaged more than 100 thousand square kilometers. A total of 69227 people were killed, 374643 injured and 17923 missing in the earthquake. It was the most devastating earthquake since the founding of our country. It was also the most serious earthquake after the Tangshan earthquake.
On 14th April 2010, there were six times earthquakes occurred in Yushu City, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province. The earthquake had killed 2698 people, including 2687 confirmed people, there were 11 unnamed bodies, and 270 people were missing.
The Tangshan earthquake was a very very big earthquake that happened 41 years ago. It was one of the worst earthquake disasters of the twentieth Century. It happened on 28th July 1976. The great earthquake caused Tangshan, an industrial town with a population of millions, to be wiped out, instantly razed to the ground. There were about more than 240 thousand fresh lives were buried in the rubble in the great earthquake.
