一、教学目标:
(1) 知识目标
能听、说、认读单词:rainy, snowy, sunny, cloudy, windy
能听、说、认读句型:What’s the weather like in …? It’s … and….
(2)能力目标
能正确区分五个天气单词;
能正确搭配天气符号与单词;
能根据提示判断天气情况,并运用句子进行表达
能完成中国天气预报与世界天气预报;
能认识四个世界城市:Moscow, London, Sydney, Singapore.。
(3)情感目标
学会积极表达,并能与小组成员积极合作;
理解中国及世界主要城市的地理位置和天气状况;
初步感知生活带来的美好,用心热爱生活。
二、教学重、难点
(1)教学重点:
能听说认读本课时的单词:rainy, snowy, windy, cloudy, sunny
巩固句型:What’s the weather like in…?
能对问句给出正确的回答。
(2)教学难点:
正确区分五座国外城市的名称,并准确地做出天气预报。
三、教学过程:
I Warm-up
Hello, boys and girls, nice to meet you. Today we’ll talk about the weather.
First, let’s have a chant, Ok?(师拍手,生说chant)
5℃ It’s so cold, it’s so cold.
15℃ It’s so cool, it’s so cool.
20℃ It’s so warm, it’s so warm.
30℃ It’s so hot, it’s so hot.
【设计意图:通过复习温度与感受,一是帮助同学们快速进入学习状态,另一个目的是为本节课的学习做铺垫】
Ⅱ Presentation
1、(承接上一节课学习的天气,拓展认识中国其他城市及天气情况)Boys and girls ,last class we have learned weather in China. But there are many cities in China. Today ,let’s go and see ,what’s the weather like there?
2、sunny的教授
First, We are in Jinan. Here’s the Quenching Square.
It’s 18 degrees, it’s very cold. But there is a big sun. The weather is … (听音呈现单词)出示词卡,跟读单词:
It’s cold in Jinan. It’s sunny in Jinan. It’s …and … in Jinan.(两个句子合二为一)
3、cloudy的教授
Now, let’s go to Qingdao. There’s a big event in Qingdao. President Xi Jinping came to Qingdao. Do you know that? He came because of the largest naval review. Let’s enjoy a video.
What’s the weather like in Qingdao?
Cloudy Ss find the card Ss find the picture sentence: What’s the weather like in Qingdao? It’s cool and cloudy.
Teacher-Ss, Ask and answer.
4、windy的教授
Go to Xi’an. Here is Wild Goose Pagoda. Listen, what’s the weather?
Voice of wind windy Ss find the word card and the picture.
What’s the weather like in Xi’an? It’s warm and windy.
Pair Work.
5、Go to Guangdong. Here’s Canton Tower. What’s the weather like?
Listen read find the word card and the picture.
Pair work
6. Go to Harbin. Here is Saint Sophia Cathedral. It’s all white.
Listen read find the word card and the picture.
Ask and answer in Group.
Ⅲ Consolidation
1、Listen and repeat.
2、(初步理解名词加y变形容词这一语法)
Look at the five words, the last letter is “y”, they’re adjective. Look at the five words, snow, rain, wind, sun, cloud, they’re noun. The noun plus “y” become the adjective.
【设计意图:帮助同学初步理解,名词加y变成形容词,以便在以后更好地学习英语语法。虽然同学们不能充分理解,初步理解也能起到辅助作用。】
3、Let’s play a game. Turn turn turn. Ss ask: What’s the weather like ? When it stops, Ss answer: What’s the weather like?
【设计意图:以趣味的方式练习举行问答。】
4、(总结各城市的天气情况)
T:What’s the weather like in …?
Ss: It’s … and … .
【设计意图:经过前期的单词与句型的学习,在这个环节综合考查同学们的掌握情况,将各城市的天气情况综合在一起,进行天气预报,达到整合的目的】
5、(由国内城市的天气过渡到国际城市。)Now, we know the weather in China, what about the weather in the world? Let’s see five cities: London, Singapore, Sydney, Moscow. First let’s now more about the five cities.(通过视频了解五个国际城市的城市标志。)
Let’s see, what’s the weather like in the five cities? Please show me your paper. Ss watch the video and put the picture under the cities.
Let’s listen and tick the weather.(看视频,完成天气调查,选出相应的天气。)
Let’s check the answer, ok?(订正答案,并认读句子)
Let’s have a chant.(根据城市天气情况,完成chant)
【设计意图:有我国城市的天气,延伸至国际城市,帮助同学们放眼世界,了解世界上其他国家的标志建筑及天气,不拘泥与眼前。】
6、Now, let’s be a reporter. There are 2 levels. Level A: 2cities, 2 stars. Level B: 4 cities, 4 stars.
(播报的时候,分层进行,是为了能照顾到每个学生的学习能力与表达水平,让每位同学都能参与进来。)
Ⅳ Emotional
In different weather , we can do different things.
It’s a rainy day. I can read books at home. I’m happy.
It’s a sunny day. I can go on a picnic. I’m happy.
It’s a windy day. I can fly a kite. I’m happy.
It’s a cloudy day. I can play football. I’m happy
It’s a snowy day. I can make a snowman. I’m happy.
Ⅴ Homework.
1、Listen and repeat.
2、Watch the weather report, and write them down.
