第二课时
A Let’s learn Let’s chant
【学习内容】
A部分Let’s learn, Let’s chant。
【新课标与教材分析】
新课标重视双向交流和中西方文化的介绍，根据学生的年龄特点和认知能力，让学生在了解英语国家文化的同时，学会向外国人介绍中国的相关知识。
本课时由Let’s learn和Let’s chant两部分组成。
教材中国家名称的词汇是通过各个国际标志性的建筑物体现其语义的，同时也通过呈现这些标志性的建筑物，拓展学生的中外文化知识。歌谣的主要内容涵盖了A部分的四个核心词汇，通过对歌谣的理解和朗读操练巩固词汇。
【学情分析】
三年级学生对我国的国歌、国旗比较熟悉。对其他国家的国旗也有一定的认知能力。
【学习目标】
一、知识技能目标
1．能听、说、认、读单词：UK, Canada, USA, China。
2．能熟练运用句型：I’m from…
3．了解知识点：the UK, the USA
4．语篇提升：Hi, I’m…. I’m from…
5．知识链：UK→ the UK →I’m from the UK.
二、情感态度目标
培养学生学会与人沟通、交流个人信息的能力。
【学习重点、难点】
教学重点
1．掌握三会单词UK, Canada, USA, China,并能用 “Hi, I’m…, I’m from…”来介绍自己。
2．能熟练运用句型：“Hi, I’m…. I’m from….”进行问答练习，并能在实际生活中灵活运用。
教学难点
Canada, China的发音是本课的难点。
【学习准备】
CAI课件、录音机、磁带、本课4个单词所对应的图片及词卡等。
【学习过程】
一、热身（Warm-up）（此环节用时5分钟）
说唱做演，激情引趣
（一）歌曲、歌谣中情绪热身
Listen to the song “Boy and girl”. Students sing together.
（二）复习旧知中知识热身
Show time
Some students show their free talk.
运用所学习过的日常用语，师生之间展开情景对话交流。
T：Hello! I am …
S1：Hi! I’m ….
…
通过师生之间的自由对话，对所学语言的情景运用，拉近师生之间的距离，营造宽松、民主、和谐的教学氛围。
（三）评价分组中注意力热身
把全班分为两个组，分别是boy group和girl group，在整个上课过程中，根据学生听课情况随时给每个组粘贴相应图片。
【设计意图】通过分组评价的方法，引入竞争机制，评价的过程复习本课的两个难点单词，在做一做中让学生巩固boy 和girl两个单词。
二、呈现（Presentation）（此环节用时10分钟）
（一）话题交流，导入新课
CAI shows the pictures of four students in the book.
T: Look! We have many friends in our books. Do you know them?
Ss: Sarah, Wu Yifan, Mike, Amy.
（二）情景创设，理解词意
1. CAI shows a world map.
2. Show the picture of Amy and learn the word: UK. Get the Ss to know the position of the UK in the world map. Then teach the sentence: Hi, I’m Amy. I’m from the UK. Ss practice the sentence pattern.
3. Show the famous building of the UK---Big Ben. Then show the national flag of the UK.
4. Learn the word: Canada, USA and China in the same way. 4. Learn the word: USA. Say the sentence: Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m from the USA. Show the picture of the Statue of Liberty.
5. Listen to the tape and Ss repeat.
（三）句中练习，领读词卡
1、 操练单词: 教师领读，男女生分读，同桌对读，单个读，在其中不断纠正学生发音。
2、 学生在对所学单词有了初步印象和记忆之后，教师恰当引入Hi, I’m…, I’m from…将单词融入句子和具体情景中，让学生同桌之间根据所学新单词操练句型：
S1：Hi, I’m Zhang Peng. I’m from China.
S2：Hi, I’m Amy. I’m from the UK.
……
（四）版式呈现，视听正音
1. 通过板书呈现重点单词.
2. 听一听，练一练
先仔细听录音，再让学生跟录音模仿单词和对话，看谁说得最好，为下环节的练习做准备。
三、练习（Practice）（此环节用时10分钟）
（一）跟读模仿，听做强化
1．跟读录音，强化模仿。请个别学生模仿，抽查语音掌握情况。
2．Let’s chant
UK, UK, I’m from the UK.
Canada, Canada, I’m from Canada.
USA, USA, I’m from the USA.
China, China, I’m from China.
（二）游戏巩固，任务落实
Guessing game
Show some sentences and get the Ss to guess the country names.
四、拓展（Extension）（此环节用时10分钟）
（一）活动运用，语篇提升
1. “I’m the super star”.
CAI shows some pictures of some famous stars and get the Ss to introduce them.
