【教学内容 】
本课时主要学习:Part B Let’s talk Let’s play
【教材分析 】
本课时在上一节单词短语的基础上,进行会话练习。所用到的核心句型是:What’s the weather like in New York / …? It’s rainy/ … Is it cold/…?Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t. 如果词汇过关的话应该问题不大,关键是创造尽可能多的机会让学生在实际中运用。
【学情分析】
学生前面已经学过了关于天气的有关词语和叙述天气的句型,为本节课的学习奠定了基础。本节课的主要任务是学会新句子,能与别人对话交流天气情况。
【教学目标】
一、知识与技能目标
1、能熟练朗读并模仿本节课对话。
2、能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话,并能进行角色表演。
二.过程与方法目标
1. 能够在情景中运用句型What’s the weather like in New York? It’s rainy. 问答某地天气情况;能运用句型It’s 26 degrees.表述气温;了解打电话用语This is …. 了解温度的两种读法(℃和℉)
2. 能够完成Let’s play的活动,认真观察配图了解一些国家的国旗、重要城市及天气情况,能运用句型What’s the weather like in Beijing? It’s cool and rainy. 问答某城市的天气。
三、情感态度价值观目标
通过学习让学生了解世界各地天气特点与区别,让他们感受学习的乐趣并能在集体活动中培养友谊,学会互帮互助。
【学习重点、难点】
重点:在情景中运用句型What’s the weather like in New York? It’s rainy. 问答某地天气情况。
难点:中西方对温度表达方式的不同,摄氏及华氏温度的表达方式;
一些国家的国旗、重要城市及天气情况。

【教学过程】
(一)lead-in
1) Greeting.
T:Before the class let’s enjoy a song together, you can sing along with it .
Ss: “How’s the weather today? It’s sunny, it’s sunny , it’s sunny today…”
T: Do you like the song ? And the song talks about the weather. Today we’ll learn something about weather. (带读weather 单词)
T: Look, what’s this?
Ss: 温度计
T:Yes, the weather glass can tell us the weather. Today I take 2weatherglasses, One is for Group1&2, the other one is for Group 3&4. Are you ready?
Ss: Yes.
2) In the song ,we heard a sentence“How’s the weather?”and we have learned another sentence“What’s the weather like in …”,Now let’s have a pair-work, ask about the weather with your partner.
【设计意图】:歌曲导入,引出本课课题weather,通过温度计评价促进小组竞争。句型回顾,复习上节所学。
(二). Presentation
1.)T:Boys and girls , here is our old friend—Chen Jie. She is talking on the phone. Who is she talking with? 展示Mark的头像和名字). 运用phonic学习Mark的名字的读音 car-Mar-Mark. Let’s say hello to Mark.
Ss: Hello! Mark!(通过学生和Mark 打招呼的活动,熟悉Mark的读音)
T: So,Mark and Chen Jie are having a phone call. What are they talking about? Let’s make a prediction.
【设计意图】:通过认识新朋友,了解新朋友的,引出课文内容,通过仔细观察图片,提高学生利用有效信息的预测能力。
2. ) T: Yes, they are talking about the weather. Now let’s listen and choose: Which Cities are they talking about?
S1. Beijing and New York.
T: Excellent. Chen Jie is from Beijing and Mark is in New York, (show the world map) they live very far, but they can talking on the phone. And did you remember Mark how to introduce himself at the beginning?
Ss: Hello, Chen Jie. This is Mark.
T: So Here is a little tip: When you talking on the phone ,you can not say : Hello ,I am …. We often say: Hello , this is …. Now, call your friends.
Ss: Hello, this is …
3)T:Now, Let’s watch and choose “What’s the weather like in New York?”(学生观看视频) Who got the answer?
S1. It’s rainy.
T: Can you tell us the reason?
S1: Chen Jie says:What’s the weather like in New York? Mark says: It’s raniy. How about Beijing?
T: Excellent. And now it’s your turn to read by yourself, let’s read and answer: How many degrees in Beijing? (学生自读文本,获取有效信息)
S2:B It’s 26 degrees.
T: Yes, it’s 26 degrees. Mark says: 26 degrees, that’s cold. But Chen Jie says: Huh No ,it’s not, it’s warm. Now I want to ask: 26 degrees, why do they have different opinion? Let’s disscuss in your group,then share us the answer.(小组讨论,思维碰撞)

T: Different opinions,now let’s look at the screen , we can see the weatherglass has two sides. Mark is in New York, they often use the left side, but Chen Jie is in China ,we often use the other side . 26 degrees in China is quite warm while in Fahrenheit degree it’s much colder. It is nearly -3 degrees. So Mark said :That’s cold. Understand? Who can retell it in Chinese?
S3:……(中文解释,解疑答惑)
4)T:Now here is 26 degrees, Is it cold?
Ss: No,it isn’t.
T: Yes ,and we can also say : No,it’s not. (板书,领读, 操练)
Is it warm?
S1: Yes, it is. (板书,领读,操练)
T: So ,Let’s have a pair-work, you can point and ask : Is it……? Yes, it is./ No,it isn’t.
Ss share……
T: Let’s sing it with the song of “Two tigers”

1) Now, Let’s read it better. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.
(原音输入,听音模仿)
2. Let’s have a role-play conversation. (分角色朗读,熟悉操练)
3. Act out. 看书能表演出来。Good!
不看书,声音响亮、发音正确。Great!
加上适当的动作表情和道具, 自然地表演出来。Wonderful!
4. Make a new dialogue .
T: The weather and time is quite different in the world. Suppose your friend is in the other city, make a phone call with her/him and talk about the weather and time.
You may use: Hello, this is…
What’s the weather like in …
What time is it ? It’s …
It’s time to/for…(情境设定,语言输出)
(四)Extension:
Different place has different weather. Different place has different custom .不同的地区有不同的天气. 不同的地区有不同的习俗.
In western coutries ,people usually talk about weather when they meet. It can be a useful way of starting a conversation and making friends.
And now, Let’s enjoy the weather of different cities. London ,Singapore, Moscow, Sydney……
So , The weather always changes, please take care of yourself and others.
