Step One. Pre-task activities

Step Two. While-task procedure
1. ask several students to introduce herself or himself by using the name cards.
2. guide the students into the text by looking at the Picture.
3. lead Ss to listen to tape for the first time and answer three questions. 4. Listen to the tape again and finish T or F exercises on P 1 of WB.
5. Guide Ss to read the text after the tape.
6. Give Ss one minute to role-play the text.
7. Ask Ss to read together. (Correct the pronunciation of some words.)
8. Explain some key points in the text.
9. Instruct Ss to listen to the text for the third time and do comprehension check on the text P4.
