教学目标:
After the class, the students are expected
1. to get to know how to look for the 5 elements of a narrative reading: when, where, what, who,
and why
2. to understand more details by finding key information
3. to cultivate some reasoning skills in reading
4. to arouse some awareness of the relationship between brothers and sisters in today’s society

task-based,group work
教学重点与难点:
highlight: gather the useful and relevant details from the reading
difficulty: some students might not understand the reading clearly; and some might find it hard to express themselves in English based on the given information.
学情分析:
There are 31 students in class. They have taken the class for over two years, and the reading course has started since the beginning of this semester. Some of them are not able to follow the English instructions in class. About one-fifth of the students are capable of understanding and expressing their viewpoints actively. Vocabulary and passage understanding are the big obstacles to most of them.
