教学过程
Step 1. Warm-up
Show some pictures to the students.
And ask: What can he do?
Step 2. Work in pairs.
Give them an example:
Ann: Hi, Lisa. What can you do ?
Lisa: I can sing and cook. What about you?
Ann: I can sing but I can’t swim.
Ask them to act out.
Step 3. Reading
Read and answer the questions:
How many pictures can you see?
What’s the difference between him and us?
Why is Liu Wei famous?
Check the answers.
Read and tick (√) or cross (×)
Step 4. Pair work
Give an example:
A: Can Liu Wei swim?
B: Yes, he can.
A: How do you know?
B: Here, ‘He can swim’
Work in pairs in class.
Step 5. Homework
Write a passage about your friend. Talk about his/her abilities in this passage.
Finish Exercise 6 on page 67.
