Step 1. Brainstorm
What school things do you have?
Ask and answer in pairs.
Step 2. Warm-up
Show some pictures to the students.
Ask them to talk about what they have.
Then ask and answer in pairs.
Step 3. Game
Play a game with the students.

Step 4. Work in pairs
Give them an example, then talk with their partners:
A: What do you have in your school bag?B: I have ... in my school bag.B: What do you have in your school bag?A: I have ... in my school bag.
Step 5. Reading
Read and answer the questions.
1. Who are talking?
2. Why are they talking about school things?
Help the students to read and answer them.
Read and check the statements and correct the mistakes.
1. Jiaming’s bag is not heavy.
2. Jiaming has history class today.
3. Jiaming has English class today.
Step 6. Pronunciation
