Step 1. Brainstorm

Ask and answer in pairs.
Step 2. Warm-up
What time is it now?
询问学生现在时间,引出课题。并向学生展示更多时间点,学会表达时间。
T: Hello, everyone. Let’s enjoy the pictures.
Play the video of "time" on the screen. Let the students watch them. After that, ask them to answer some questions.
T: What is it about?
S1: About time.
Say sentences about the picture

Step 3. Listening
1. Ask Ss to listen to the dialogue and get the main idea.
What are they talking about?
A. Their English class.
B. Their classes on Wednesday.
2. Have Ss listen to the dialogue again and choose the best answer.

A. At 8:00 B. At 1:30 C. At 8:50
2). What’s the first lesson in the afternoon?
A. English B. Maths C. History
3). Why does Sun Li ask Tom to wait?
Because he doesn’t have a pen.
Because he is late for his class.
