B
One
of
the
simplest
and
the
most
effective
forms
of
communication
involves
nothing
more
than
the
movement
of
facial
muscles.
What
am
I
talking
about
Smiling!
Everyone
understands
what
a
smile
means
and
everyone
also
understands
what
a
frown
means.
In
fact,
these
two
basic
facial
expressions
can
be
recognized
across
countries,
across
the
world
and
across
the
globe,
regardless
of
the
language
spoken
or
the
culture
lived
in.
Hugs
are
so
beautiful!
When
you
give
someone
a
hug
or
someone
comes
up
and
gives
you
a
hug,
this
simple
act
of
a
hug
can
“speak”
volumes
about
how
much you
care
for
the
other
person,
how
much
love
you
want
to
share
with
the
other
person,
how
much
you
have
missed
the
other
person.
This
hug
has
so
much
to
say,
and
yet
there
never
has
to
be
any
words
spoken.
And,who
needs
to
say
the
words
“yes”
or
“no”
when a
movement
of
the
head
says
the
same
thing.
These
basic
examples
show
just
how
powerful
body
language
can
be.
Just
knowing
how
to
read
and
use
body
language
effectively,
makes
it
really
easy
to
see
why
it
is
not
always
a
bad
thing
to
be
lost
for
words.
Body
language
in
the
world
of
love
is
a
very
common
thing
and
sometimes
the
only
thing.
And,
most
of
the
time, body
language
is
the
very
first
words
“spoken”
before
any
words
are.
The
old
saying
is
“love
at
first
sight”,
not
“love
at
first
word”.
Across
a
crowded
room,
their
eyes
meet
and
linger,he
winks
at
her,
and
she
raises
an
eyebrow.
The
connection
is
made
without
any
words
needed.
These
displays
of
body
language
say
it
all.
In
fact,
sometimes
they
can
say
more
than
words
can.
25.
How
many
kinds
of
body
language
are
mentioned
in
the
first
two
paragraphs
A.
Two.
B.
Three.
C.
Four.
D.
Five.
26.
The
author
thinks
it
isn’t
a
bad
thing
to
be
lost
for
words
because
________.
A.
silence
is
usually
better
than
words
B.
body
language
can
save
much
time
C.
body
language
can
be
more
effective
D.
too
many
words
may
bring
some
trouble
27.
The
last
paragraph
talks about
body
language
used
________.
A.
between
two
people
in
love
B.
between
two
good
friends
C.
between
family
members
D.
between
close
relatives
28.
Which
word
can
best
describe
body
language
according
to
the
passage
A.
Necessary.
B.
Important.
C.
Wonderful.
D.
Powerful.

Hawking

Oxford,
England

January
1942.
He

Albans—a

After

Oxford
University
where
he
studied
physics,and
then
he
went
to
Cambridge
University
where
he studied
cosmology (宇宙学).
As
he
himself
admitted
he
wasn't
very
serious
about
studying.
He
was
a
very
lazy
student,and
did
very
little
work.
However,
he
still
achieved
extremely
good
marks.
Hawking
first
noticed
something

He

his

time,
his
father
was

worried
that

sent
to
hospital

a
test.
Finally,
the
result
came
back.
Hawking
had
motor
neurone
disease(运动神经元病),an incurable illness
which
causes
the
muscles
of
the
body
to
waste
away.
Doctors
said
he
would
die
before
he
was
23.
At
first,
Hawking
became
extremely
depressed(忧郁的).
After
a
while,
though,
he
began
to
see
his
life
in
a
different
way.
As
he
later
wrote, “Before
my
illness
had
been
diagnosed(诊断),there
had
not
seemed
to
be
anything
worth
doing.
But
shortly
after
I
came
out
of
hospital.
I
suddenly
realized
that
there
were
a
lot
of
worthwhile
things
I
could
do.”
Hawking
married,
found
a
job
at
Cambridge
University,
where
he
still
works
today,
and
had
three
children.
He
also
went
to
do
some
of
the
most
important
scientific
research
ever
carried
out.
His
story
shows
that
nobody,
however
bad
their
situation
is,
should
lose
hope.
“Life
is
not
fair,”
he
once
said,
“You
just
have
to
do
the
best
you
can
in
your
own
situation.”

Some
people
think
that
they
will
get
ill
if
they
use
their
brains
too
much.
It
is
not
true.
Through
many
studies,
scientists
show
us
that
the
more
you
use
your
brains,
the
better
it
will
be,
and
the
cleverer
you
will
become.
34._______________
There are many ways to rest. One is a peaceful rest. Sleep is a peaceful rest. Another is an active rest. For example, take a walk outdoors, do more exercise every day. To change the way of the brains' activities is also a good way to rest.
35.
_______________
In everyday life, to eat some eggs, meat, fresh vegetables and fruit is also good for the brains.
Of
course,
if
you
want
to
keep
your
mind
clear
and
active,
you
must
take
a
proper
rest
and
study
properly.
To the teenagers, using their brains in the morning is good for their health.

Good
advice

Ways
of
using

I

doubt
whether
there
is
love

my
parents.
Every

they
are
very
36
trying
to
earn
money
in
order
to
pay
the
high
tuition
for
my
brother
and
me.
I
never
hear
them

or
see
them
send
birthday
37
to
each
other.
My
father
has
a
bad
temper.
When
he's
very
tired
from
the
hard
work,
it
is
38
for
him
to
lose
his
temper.
One
day
my
mother
was
preparing
dinner.
I
silently
sat
down
beside
her
and
looked
at
her.
“Mom,
I
have
a
question
to
ask
you.”
I
said
after
a
while.“What ”she
replied,
39
doing
her
work.
“Is
there
love

and
dusk,
my
mother
helped
my
father
walk
slowly
on
the
country
road.
My
father
had
never
been
so
43
It
seemed
that
they
were
the
most
harmonious

how
are
you
feeling
now "
I
asked
him
one
day.
"
Susan,
don't
worry
about
me.
To
tell
you
the
truth,
I
just
like
walking
with
your
mom.
I

Hello,
boys
and
girls!
Welcome
to
our
school
sports
festival,as
you
know,
we
hold
this
festival
every
year
on
the
3rd
Friday
of
October.
On
this
day,
all
the
students
gather
on
the
playground
and
take
part
in
different
sporting
activities.
You
can
go
in
for
team
sports,
like
football
and
volleyball
in
the
morning.
Then
in
the
afternoon,
you
can
play
the
sports
of
tennis,
badminton
and
ping-pang.
Our
aim
to
hold
this
festival
is
to
help
students
build
team
spirits
as
it
can
build
friendships
and
trust
between
teammates.
We
hope
that
all
the
students
will
understand
how
important
the
sport
is
and
become
more
interested
in
sporting
life,
come
and
join
us
right
now!

What
are
the
school
hours
likes
in
Britain?
Do
you
have
much
homework
We
don't
have
much
homework
to
do,
but
it
is
a
bit
challenging.
School
starts
around
9:
00
a.
m
and
ends
about
3:
30
p.m.
Could
you
say
something
about
your
after-class
activities
On
average,
how
many
students
are
there
in
each
class
There
are
about
30
students
in
each
class.
We
students
take
part
in
different
after-school
activities.
We
can
enjoy
nature,
play
ball
games
or
do
what
else
we
like.
What
subjects
do
you
study
We
have
to
study
English
and
science.
And
we
can
choose
some
other
subjects
such
as
French
and
history.
