Two groups of the students go to the platform to introduce themselves acting as
New York, Beijing, Moscow，London and so on, according to the passage in unit 2, without books.
In their shows, you can hear some of these sentences:
1.In London, it’s five o’clock in the afternoon, some people are driving home.
2.Some are watching television or playing games at home.
3.In Los Angeles, it’s nine o’clock, people aren’t sleeping. They are working.
4.I’m _________on the Great Wall of China and ____________to you.
5. Tony _________ a delicious ice cream.
6. We _______________the school trip a lot.

Present Continuous Tense 现在进行时态(I)
Grammar
1. 定义:
a) 表示说话瞬间正在进行的动作。
1)He is watching TV now.
2)He is drinking a glass of water.
3)We are working on a farm these days.
4)I am writing a book this year.
b) 还可表示现在或现阶段正在进行的动作或一直持续的状态。
2. 谓语动词的构成: 助动词be + V-ing。
(随着人称、数的变化而变化，有am, is, are三种形式) 。
规则 示例
一般情况下，动词后直接加-ing work - working
buy - buying
visit -visiting
以字母e结尾的动词，去掉e，加-ing take - taking
have - having
write - writing
以辅音字母+元音字母+辅音字母的重读闭音节结尾的动词，如果末尾只有一个辅音字母，双写辅音字母，然后加-ing stop - stopping
shop - shopping
sit - sitting
特殊变化(需要特别记忆) lie- lying

观察几个例子：
I’m visiting my friend.
He is eating an ice cream.
We’re preparing for Spring Festival.

1)他现在正在玩电脑游戏。
He is playing computer games now.
2)我现在正在读书。
I’m reading at the moment.
3)听，她正在唱歌。
Listen! She is singing.
4)看，我妈妈正在浇花。
Look! My mother is watering the flowers.

3. 现在进行时常与now, at the/this moment, today, these days等时间状语连用，
有时句首有look, listen等提示词。
将下面的句子变为否定句:
1)I’m writing the postcard.
2) She is watching the film.
3)He is playing computer games.
4) They are having afternoon tea at the moment.
5) We are discussing the problem.
not writing the postcard.
is not /isn't watching the film.
is not /isn't playing computer games.
are not /aren't having afternoon tea at the moment
are not /aren't discussing the problem.
现在进行时的肯定句变为否定句时,be后加not。具体结构为：
主语 + be (am, is, are) + not + doing …
4. 句型转换:
She is enjoying her trip.



2.They are buying postcards.
Is she enjoying her trip?
Are they buying postcards?
现在进行时的一般疑问句结构：
be(am, is, are) + 主语 + doing ...?
