教学目标
使学生能够听说读写本课句型：What do you know about Canada? Canada is a big country. It’s famous for maple leaves. People there speak English and French. Toronto is a big city. It’s in the southeast of Canada. You can visit the CN Tower there.等。
使学生能够运用本课句型就世界各地名胜进行口语交流。
使学生理解第16和第22页短文，并能根据短文内容完成相应任务。

Warming-up
通过各地名胜图片来复习第一课时的词语：London, Toronto, Sydney, Washington D.C. the British Museum, the CN Tower, kangaroo, the Opera House, the White House等。
师生口语交流：
T：Where do you want to go this winter vacation? S： I want to go to ...
T：Where is it? S：It’s in the ...of ...
T：What do you want to do there? S：I want to see...
教师可多提问几个同学，通过提问，复习上课的句型。
Presentation
师： 打开课本第16页, Look at the pictures. What countries and cities can you see on the map? 请同学就这个问题进行回答。
听录音，学生跟读句子。
大屏幕展示世界地图，请同学到前面来指出加拿大的位置。
教师讲解重点句型：
What do you know about Canada?你知道关于加拿大的什么？
Canada is a big city.加拿大是一个大的城市。It’s famous for maple leaves.它有枫叶而闻名。
People there speak English and French.那里的人们讲英语和法语。
Toronto is in the southeast of Canada. You can visit the CN Tower there.多伦多在加拿大东南部。你在那里可以看到加拿大国家电视塔。
This is Australia. It’s famous for koalas and kangaroos. They are cute.这是澳大利亚。它以树袋熊和袋鼠而闻名。

学生自读对话短文，小组内可相互帮助。
大屏幕播放世界各地名胜，koala, the Opera House, the CN Tower, the White House, Disneyland, kangaroo, museum, Big Ben, the British Museum, maple leaves等。先请同学们说这些名胜在哪个国家，这个国家的语言是什么？然后完成填写表格的任务：

4．把刚才小组练习的句子，写在17页Part C的横线上。

多媒体展示法国，埃及图片，学习21页Part A教师讲解：
France is in the middle of Europe.法国在欧洲的中部。 Paris is the biggest city in France.巴黎是法国最大的城市。There you can see the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, a very famous museum.在那里，你可以看到艾菲尔铁塔和卢浮宫，一个著名的博物馆。French people love cycling.法国人喜欢自行车运动。

1．学生自读短文。
学生自制世界名胜图片：你喜欢世界哪些地方，为什么喜欢它呢？画一张它的图画吧。并用上句型：It’s famous for...People there speak...图片制作好后，与同桌交流。教师使用“学乐师生”APP拍照，分享给全班同学。
播放Let’s sing歌曲，学生跟唱。
学生自己唱一唱，教师使用“学乐师生”APP录音，分享给全班同学。
听录音，完成22页Part A 内容，把图片标序号。
学生自读短文22页Part B，完成相应的句子回答任务。
教师使用“学乐师生”APP拍照，把答案分享给全班同学，确保同学们书写正确。
小组活动：同桌四人为一组，相互提问回答：
What is it famous for? What can you do there?
What city is there? What language do people speak?
What else do you know?教师使用“学乐师生”APP录音，把活动分享给其他组同学。
8．完成Part D的书写任务。根据所学句型，写一篇小短文，介绍你知道的某个地方。小组内交流写作成果。
