discover “发现”,被探索或被揭示物是客观存在着。
Columbus discovered America in 1492.
Who discovered radium?
invent “发明”,指的是发明原先不存在的东西。
Who invented the steam engine?
find意为“找到、发现”,指找到或发现自己所需要的东西或丢失的东西,着重指找到的结果。
They finally found a way.
find out指经过研究或询问查明某事或真相。
