Step 1:Warming-up 课前互动 展示关于天气的图片,要求学生记忆30秒,然后随机逐个隐去某图。要求学生拼读出对应该图的英文单词。 展示关于weather的思维导图,要求学生说出更多关于天气的词语并观察说出形容词与名词的用法。 抛出问题:How to make your journey colorful? 引导学生自由发言,出示本课标题。 按要求积极参与游戏,拼读单词;说出尽可能多的有关天气的词语,观察归纳形容词与名词用法的不同;讨论问题,朗读标题。 温故知新,寓教于乐。 拓展思维,导入新课。
Step 2:Foundation and ability 夯实基础提升能力 呈现本课生词,指导学生朗读并拓展词性变化。指导学生两人组讨论完成Activity 1。指导学生浏览美国地图,快速阅读短文,找出文章中所提到的各大洲名并教读发音。展示Activity 3的表格,指导学生细读课文完成填写。多媒体展示部分学生答案,予以讲评鼓励。播放录音,学生跟读完成。要求学生精读课文,以小组形式探究课文重点词句,然后自由读,齐读、分组读课文。. 播放课文动画。指导学生独立完成Activity 4中的填空题,要求学生两人组核对纠错。指导学生独立完成Activity 5,朗读核对答案。指导学生根据实际情况,以小组合作的形式写下游览自己家乡的最佳时间并陈述原因。根据提示句子进行班级汇报,教师点评。 1、朗读生词并拓展词性变化。2、两人组讨论完成Activity 1。3、浏览地图,快速阅读,找出文中所提到的各大洲名并学会朗读。4、细读课文完成表格填写。 5、跟读录音。精读课文,探究课文重点词句,然后自由读,齐读、分组读课文。.6、欣赏课文动画。7、独立完成Activity 4中的填空题,两人组核对纠错。8、独立完成Activity 5,朗读核对答案。9、根据实际情况,以小组合作的形式写下游览自己家乡的最佳时间并陈述原因。进行班级汇报。 词汇过关 培养口语能力 掌握阅读技巧。 培养朗读与合作探究能力。 寓教于乐、巩固课文。 培养写作与语言的综合运用能力。

The US is a very big country. It is about 3,000 miles from the east
coast to the west coast, so choose carefully the places to see and the time to go. Bring a map because you may want to travel around.
New York and Washington D.C are good places to visit in May or October, but in winter there is a lot of snow.
The best time to visit New England is in September. The weather gets cooler, and the green leaves start to turn gold, then brown. Bring your camera so you can take photos of the autumn trees.

California is on the Pacific coast, and the weather is fine all year
round. Take your swimming clothes because you might want to go swimming in the sea, even in December.
In Seattle, in the northwest, it is not very cold but it rains a lot,
so bring an umbrella. In Alaska, the days are long and warm in summer, but may be cool in the evening. In winter, Alaska can be
very very cold. If you want to visit Alaska, you had better go in summer. Do not forget to bring a warm sweater with you.
