1、 教学目标与要求
语言技能目标:
1、能够用英语向别人简单介绍自己的爱好和特长。
2、能够用英语询问和简单介绍他人的爱好和特长。
语言知识目标:
1、能够正确听、说、认读以下短语:
good at, street dancing, story books.
2、能够熟练运用以下句子:
What do you do in your free time?
How often do you go to...
I’m good at.....
情感态度目标:
1、进一步提高学生学习英语的兴趣。
2、能够积极主动地参与课堂活动,大胆开口,主动模仿。
3、培养学生有益健康的兴趣和爱好。
二、教学重难点
能够用英语向别人简单介绍自己和他人的爱好特长。
三、教学过程
Step1. Greeting and introduction
Step2. Leading-in
Ask students “Do you like singing? I like singing. So my hobby is singing. I have many hobbies, such as dancing and so on, but I want to know what your hobbies are. (导出新课,板书课题,并教授单词hobby。)
Step3. Presentation
Show some pictures or objects, ask and answer.
1)T: What do you do in your free time?
Ss: I often...
T: Great. How often do you...
2)T: (Point and ask)
  --- What’s your hobby?
  --- I like –ing… / My hobby is –ing…
板书呈现句型, 同时以此方法复习并操练重点句型:
1)-What do you do in your free time?
-I often...
2)-What’s your hobby?
-I like –ing… / My hobby is –ing…
Step4. 练习句型
I like ...
I’m good at...
eg.
I’m like reading. I’m good at telling stories.
I’m good at dancing. Do you want dance with me?
I’m good at singing. Who want sing with me?
...
Step5. Pair work
Show them some pictures. Have them ask and answer in pairs like this:
1)- What’s your hobby?
-I like collecting stamps. /My hobby is collecting stamps.
2) -What are you going to do?
-I’m going to do exercise.
-How often do you do exercise?
-Three times a week.
-Are you good at running?
-Yes.Can you run with me tomorrow.
-Sure!

Step6. Presentation
Show some pictures, ask and answer.
1)T: --- What does he do in his free time?
S: --- She/He …
2)T: --- I’m good at dancing.
S: --- Really? I like dancing very much.
T: --- Do you want to dance with me?
S: --- Sure. Can you teach me street dancing?
T: ---I’m not very good at it. But we can learn together.
Step7. Group work
Have them ask and answer in groups.
T: --- I’m good at painting. What about you?
 S: --- ...
Step8. Sum up
T-S sum up together.
