教材分析 本课是Unit 5 There is a big bed PartA Let’s learn中的内容，重点内容是5个新单词“clock、photo、plant、bike、water bottle”和句型“There is a…”。 本节课是本单元的第一课时，本节课的学习质量直接影响着下节课Let’s talk的学习，所以本节课至关重要。本单元的教学内容与学生日常生活联系密切，在课堂中应鼓励学生每天善于观察，并学习用英语表达。
学情分析 五年级的学生通过前两年的学习，对英语单词、句子的掌握有一定的基础。本节课我会着重加强学生的口语交流，做到关注每一位学生，让每一位学生积极参与到课堂当中。
教学目标 知识与能力目标 能听、说、读、写单词“clock”，“plant”，“bike”，“water bottle”和“photo”。 能够在情景中运用句型“There is a…”描述某处有某物。
过程与方法目标 结合多媒体教学，采用听读训练、游戏、课堂展示等方式方法，进行语言交际训练突破难点
情感态度与价值观目标 1、培养学生积极与他人合作的优良品质。 2、通过学习，教育学生要热爱自己的家。

二、Presentation 1、展示Zhang Peng’s room，询问学生What can you see?引导学生说出以前学过的单词bed、window、desk、chair。2、教师引导说I want to put something in Zhang Peng’s room. Look,first one is clock.出示clock图片，带读clock，并运用升降调、大小声等方式来读单词。The second one is photo. The third one is plant. The forth one is water bottle. The fifth one is bike.以同样的方式呈现这些单词，以及朗读单词。3、呈现句型There is a…,带读句子There is a clock. There is a photo. There is a plant. There is a water bottle. There is a bike. 1、学生在教师的引导下说出以前学过的单词bed、window、desk、chair。2、跟教师一起读单词clock、photo、plant、bike、water bottle。并跟教师一起做游戏读单词。3、跟教师一起读句子There is a… 利用课件和师生间的交流，自然引出新单词、新句型。把单词运用到句子中学会活学活用,学生对句子的理解能够做到运用自如。
三、Practice 与教师一起做闯关游戏，第一关：朗读单词clock、photo、plant、bike、water bottle。第二关：What’s missing?学生快速读出消失的单词。第三关：砸金蛋。通过游戏的方式来让学生反复朗读新学习的单词和句型 学生与教师一起来闯关，按照游戏要求来完成相关任务 通过趣味横生的“闯关”游戏,提高学生兴趣，同时将本课新单词clock、photo、plant、bike、water bottle和句型There is a…练习巩固。
四、Consolidation 1、教师出示自己的房间，示范介绍自己的房间。2、运用所学的句型，向自己的同伴介绍自己画的房间3、课堂展示：介绍自己的房间给大家 1、学生认真听教师如何介绍自己的房间。 2、向同伴介绍自己画的房间 3、学生需要运用所学的句型上台来介绍自己画的房间 教师先做示范，能让学生们知道该如何介绍自己的房间。接着让学生先在自己同伴面前介绍，能让学生们消除紧张感，敢于发言。最后,过渡到让孩子们站在讲台上来说，培养孩子们的自信心。
