知识点2:宾语从句的功能 宾语从句:在句子中担当宾语的从句叫宾语从句。
宾语从句的句法功能:
1.作动词的宾语
例:He said he would go.
2.作介词的宾语
例:It all depends on whether it will be fine tomorrow.
3. 作系表结构的宾语
例:I am sure that it won't happen.
知识点3:宾语从句的种类宾语从句的种类:
1.以that引导的宾语从句
例:Many people believe (that) robots will do most our work.
I think (that) everything will be fine.

Tips: that是从属连词,无实际意义,不在从句中充当任何成分。在口语和非正式文体中可以省略。但在书面语中尽量保留。
2.由whether /if 引导的宾语从句
例:I ask them whether/if they would win the match.
Nobody knows whether/if he likes it.
She wondered whether/if the bus would still be running.

Tips: whether/if 引导的从句大多由一般疑问句作直接引语
变化而来,虽然在句中不作成分,但含有“是否”之义,在句中不可省略。3.由连接代词what,who,whom,whose,which等引导的宾语从句.这些连接代词在句中充当主语,宾语,表语和定语等,不能省略。
例: Do you know who will come this afternoon.
I don't know whom you should trust.
Nobody knows what it is.
Could you tell me which book we should buy?

Tips:连接代词一般表疑问,但what,
whatever 除了表疑问还可以表陈述。
4.连接副词(when,where,how,why等)引导的宾语从句,
这些连接副词在句中作状语,不可以省略。
例:He didn't tell me when the traffic accident had taken place.
Could you tell me where you bought your coat?
I will tell you why I am angry with him.
