What are “question words”? wh- question words:

疑问词可以引导从句做宾语从句用陈述语序
从句的语序为:疑问词+主语+谓语动词
What did you eat?
I want to know what you ate.
当疑问词部分做从句的主语,在变为宾语从句时, 仍用原句的语序。 What has happened to John?
Do you know what has happened to John?知识点3.一般疑问句如何变成宾语从句 一般疑问句变为宾语从句时,引导词用if 或 whether.
以Be动词..is ,are ,am 开首

以情态动词开头 can , could, would, will

引导语序 时态
人称陈述句——that 引导(可省略)
一般疑问句——if/whether引导
特殊疑问句——wh-引导陈述语序——主语+谓语+其他主句为一般现在时——从句不受影响
主句为一般过去时——从句变为相对应的过去时态一随主
