(Period 3 Cartoon&Song time)

【教学目标】
知识目标:
会唱歌曲We all like climbing,进一步加深对于本单元重点句型like doing结构的掌握;
能读懂卡通故事,知道Sam和Billy的爱好;
能了解Billy的心情变化和Sam对Billy的态度变化;
能够流利地朗读卡通部分并能用自己的语言表演卡通对话。
2. 能力目标:
培养学生在理解Cartoon time内容的基础上正确,流利,有感情的朗读表演的能力;
鼓励学生运用所学进行交流与分享,运用本单元所学的句型?I like...?分享自己的兴趣爱好,或运用句型He/she likes...介绍他人的爱好;
初步体会skim的阅读技巧,对简单绘本进行初步感知体会,能读懂绘本故事。
3.情感目标:
培养学生的安全意识和细心的良好品质。

About me
T: Good morning, boys and girls! I’m your new English teacher. You can me Miss Shi. What do you want to ask me?
S: ......
T: Here are two pictures about me. Can you guess what do I like doing? (......) Yes! I like running and I like listening to the music. They are my hobbies. So today let’s talk about hobbies! About you
T: Can you tell me your hobbies? (随机点两个学生回答)
Play a game
T: Now let’s play a game! I will invite one student to act his hobby, others can take a guess in pairs. Who wants to show us? (学生表演) Others can guess in pairs:
A: What does he/she like doing?
B: He/She likes doing ...
Wow, you have so many hobbies! So great!
Step 2 Song time
Look and guess
T: Look at the 3 children. What do they like doing? Oh yes, they like climbing.
Listen and find
T: What else do they like doing? Do they like play football? Do they like dancing? Do they like watching films? Do they like swimming? This time, let’s listen and try to get the answers.
T: So what else do they like doing? Do you find the answers? (...) Yes, you’re right! They also like dancing and swimming.
Enjoy and act
T: It’s a nice song. Let’s enjoy it and you can follow the music.
T: Can you add some motions and sing it? Let’s have a try! You can stand up.
Let’s compose
T: You can sing very well. But can you be a composer and make a new song? First I will show you my song. I like running and listening to the music. Listen! (...) Can you? You have one minute to prepare. You can share your new song in groups. (...) Who can show me your new song?
Step 3 Cartoon time
Let’s guess
T: You have so many hobbies. Hobbies can make us happy. Now look at our old friend Billy. Can you guess what does Billy like doing? Or what is Billy’s hobby? I have so many pictures about Billy. They can help you.
Skim and check
T: You have so many ideas. Who is right? Now you can skim the passage and check the answers. How to skim? Look here! Now open your books and turn to P42-43.
T: Can you find the answers? What does Billy like? Billy likes skating. Who is right?
Details:
T: How do you find it?
S: I can skate very well too.
T: How does Billy feel?
S: He is proud and confident.
T: What about Sam? Does Sam trust Billy?
S: No!
T: How do you know that?

T: Look. At first, Billy is proud and happy. But this time, Billy is crying. Why? What happened? Let’s watch the cartoon and find the answer.
T: What happened?
S: Billy掉进洞里了。
T:Oh yes! Because he fell into the hole. There is a hole in the ice. And the hole is behind Billy. It’s very dangerous. So what does Sam say to Billy? (Watch out! )If you are Sam, what will you say?
S: Look out!/Watch out!/Be careful!/There is a hole behind you./Stop!
T: But Billy still fell into the hole. He is cold and wet.

5AUnit4 Cartoon&Song Time反思
本节课我选择了五上Unit4的Cartoon和Song Time两个板块,内容生动,趣味性强,和学生生活实际紧密相连。
本节课我的教学目标是包括知识目标、能力目标和情感目标。知识目标包括1.会唱歌曲;2.能读懂卡通故事;3.能够流利地朗读卡通并表演。能力目标包括1.培养学生自主学习Cartoon time的意识;2.鼓励学生运用所学进行交流与分享;3.初步体会skim的阅读技巧,能读懂绘本故事。情感目标包括培养学生的安全意识和细心的良好品质。本节课上下来,基本已经达到教学目标,并且在学唱歌曲和阅读、表演卡通故事上学生已经掌握得很充分了。
在备课、磨课甚至正是上课的时候,我有一些反思并且也有一些疑惑:
Song Time在一单元中的功能是什么?在备课之前我觉得它是一个完整的板块,也需要花费一定的时间教学生反复去练习,感受。但是在上课过程中,我发现歌曲对学生并没有难度,学生很容易得就学会了曲调并且记住了歌词,有困难的地方只是学生对其中语言点的忽略(如dancing的拼写和Let’s go and ...),所以我在这里设计了一个把歌曲当成听力的练习。那这个极容易犯错的地方要怎样去引导学生还值得我去思考。
学生在朗读上的训练还不够到位,在拆开课文分析人物心情的时候,学生很容易把握人物的心情,但是在整体读课文的时候,学生往往只注重单词、句子,反而忽略了人物的心情表达。另外,老师的语音语调对学生的影响往往是潜移默化的,这也就提醒了老师要注意自身的语音语调,不要拖音拖调。
Cartoon Time和扩展绘本的关系思考,本课我选择扩展了一个简单的绘本,基于Cartoon Time的绘本故事的定位应该是怎样的?是简单地读懂绘本就可还是有必要让学生对绘本有一定的思考?
本课对我的启发和思考有很多,也带给了我很多值得思考的问题,我会在今后的学习中慢慢解决自己的困惑。
