Winter, spring, summer and autumn are seasons.
Winter is cold. There is ice and snow.
In winter, I put on my hat, scarf and winter coat.
In spring, I take off my winter clothes.
4. 学生能够运用所学英语,针对季节这一话题进行基本的日常会话和语言交际。






1.学生将继续养成听录音和跟读句子的习惯。

Step 1:Warm up
Listen to a song. “How is the weather?”
卡通动画歌曲,吸引学生注意力,引发学生兴趣,将他们不自觉地带入今天所涉及的话题中。复习所学天气相关单词。
Step2: Lead in
T: How’s the weather today?
Ss: It’s rainy.
T: Is it hot?
Ss: No. It’s cool.
T: Yes, It’s cool. Now it’s always cool in November. Look, I wear my sweater. Do you know why? Because it’s autumn now.
创设轻松愉快的谈话氛围。逐步导入今天的话题。
Step3:New presentation
Demonstrate autumn and season
a. Use the vocabulary cards to teach autumn.
b. Use pictures to demonstrate
seasons. Autumn is a season.
c. ea pronounces /i:/
Can you read “tea, meat, seat, leaf”?
d. Demonstrate “leaf and leaves” with real objects”
e.T: What color are the leaves?
S: They are red and yellow.
T: In autumn, the leaves turn red and yellow.
渗透音标教学。用实物的演示加深记忆,并通过推测理解难句。
Learn Part 1: winter, spring, summer and autumn.
T: Li Ming, Jenny and Danny are talking about seasons too. Let’s have a look.
Play the video for part1. Listen and repeat.
Read and underline the answers.
Questions: How many seasons are there in a year? What are they?
Ss: Spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Match the weather with seasons.
spring - warm rainy

autumn - cool windy
winter –cold snowy
Make a chant to practice the weather and four seasons.

机械的操练加入游戏和竞赛,使学生在未察觉的情况下对短语进行了多次操练,熟练掌握新知。

选图游戏增加了学习的趣味性。
多媒体教学手段及声音、图像、文字于一身,增强了教学者和教学资源的交互性,通过多媒体传输给学生的信息冲击着学习者的多种感官。在欣赏悦目的图片,聆听轻快的音乐同时,有效地进行了复习与提升。
4.Learn Part 2.
Different clothes for different seasons.
a. Listen to part2 and match the pictures.
b. Listen and repeat.
c. Demonstrate “put on, take off” with my watch.
d. Ask students to demonstrate “put on, take off” with their glasses and red scarves.
听是说的前提,在新授时就能将所学短语放入语境中,帮助学生提高英语听力和理解能力。由部分先理解的学生将新知传递给其余学生,一方面给学生提供能力展示的平台,另一方面,树立榜样,学会向同伴学习。
5. Consolidation
a. Play flash words to review vocabulary of clothes.
Stand up and read out the words when it is flashing.
b. Tick and talk in groups.

大组间的操练确保全体学生的参与。个别学生的抽读,增加了练习的趣味性,同时了解学生的知识掌握情况。
听课文,小组排序。既可以锻炼学生的听力,输入的同时有所输出,又可以培养学生的合作学习能力。

Finish the mind map.
课文的拓展练习。通过了解思维导图,将相关知识建立关联。
家庭作业
Design a mind map about seasons at home.
自己设计思维导图,增加趣味性,实用性。
