二、教学目标:
1、学习生词mean,litter,smoke,smell,shopping centre,restaurant,了解本课的词组:be careful,take…into
2、能初步运用重点句型 “What does it mean?及回答It means …?”针对标识这一主题进行交流沟通。
3、能正确理解课文内容,理清文脉框架,进行复述和表演课文。
4、通过本课学习,让学生了解不同场所内不同公共标识的含义,帮助学生树立公共文明意识。

教学反思:
新旧教材六年级上学期都有Signs这一内容,所不同的是新教材在关注学生语言运用能力的同时,更关注学生“公民意识”的养成,即“遵守规则,做新型公民。”
本课从教师自己上周末去“燕山公园”看到许多标识引出单元话题 “signs”,Signs与我们的生活密不可分,然后让学生说一说还能在哪里看到标识,引出shopping centre。进入课文的学习。在While story板块,通过问题:What signs do they see in the shopping centre?What do these signs mean?引导学生自主地学习课文,并明确在不同的场合我们要注意遵守相应的规则,带领学生判断对与错,探讨是与非,在情境中体会、运用语言。
在教学过程中,我也发现了不少问题:
1.在课堂教学过程中,要注重学生语言习得的“入”与“出”。教师要给出正确的示范,学生在模仿、熟练的基础上,在相应的情境中正确、合理的交流。
2.在课堂中应尽可能培养学生的问题意识,引导其主动提问,并带着问题进入课文的学习。同时还需所多设计一些启发学生思维的问题:如 Why do you know Tim doesn’t know this sign?How does Tim ask?
