知识点 1may和might的用法情态动词（Model verbs）本身有一定的词义，表示语气的单词。但是不能独立作谓语，只能和动词原形一起构成谓语。情态动词用在行为动词前，表示说话人对这一动作或状态的看法或主观设想。 情态动词虽然数量不多，但用途广泛，主要有下列： can (could), may (might), must, need, ought to, dare (dared), shall (should), will (would) must not.知识点 1may和might的用法情态动词一般无人称和数的变化，后面接的动词需用原形，否定式是在情态动词后面加not。
当我们想表达可能发生某事以及某人可能做某事时，可以用may/might表示。例如：

There may be a few showers, so bring

可能有阵雨，所以随身带把伞吧。知识点 1may和might的用法might与may没有太大的区别，形式上might是may的过去式，但在表示将来的可能情况时，might表示的可能性比may表示的可能性还要小。例如：
