While at Raine Island, the sharks and turtles are in a safe place, but they can sometimes come under threat. Dana’s Safari Experience
My friend Dana’s a dentist. She works hard and makes a lot of money. She isn’t married, and she hasn’t got any brothers or sisters, so she’s got a lot of free time. Maybe that’s why her favorite hobby is traveling. Dana visits a different country every year, and last year she decided to go to Africa, to Kenya. She wanted to go on safari, to see the wild animals there. On her first day, she and the other tourists left the hotel early in the morning on a special safari bus. They went with a guide, and he answered all their questions. Everyone had their cameras ready to take photos of the animals. Suddenly there was a problem. The bus was stuck in the mud. It couldn’t move forwards or backwards. Just then three enormous elephants appeared. The tourists were very happy to see the elephants and took lots of photos. But then the elephants came near the bus and the tourists were all very quiet. Everyone was worried because the elephants were very big, and the bus was very small. But then something surprising happened. One of the elephants pushed the bus out of the mud and onto the road. The tourists smiled and laughed, and Dana took some wonderful photos.
