知识目标: 1.能用“What’s the date today?”询问 日期,并能用。“It’s …”说出10-12月的具体日期。 2.能用英语说出10-12月的具体日期。 3.能听懂、说出并认读单词seventeenth, eighteenth, twenty-second, twenty-third。 能力目标: 1.培养学生用所学句型进行交际问答的能力。 2.培养了学生的语言运用能力。 情感目标: 通过多种形式的游戏和活动,激发学生英语学习兴趣。

I .Warm-up. Greeting. Sing a song. 《Days of the months》 (3)Ask and answer How many months are there in a year? How many days are there in September? When is Teacher’s Day? 指日历 What’s the date today? 设计意图:巩固复习上一单元的知识点,激发学生的学习兴趣,为学生本单元的继续学习奠定基础。 II. Presentation 1.Show the picture of the text. There are so many people in the picture. What can you see in the picture? Can you describe it? 2.Do you know them? Who are they? Can you guess what they are talking about? 3.Let’s listen and answer : S: What’s the date today? It’s October the thirteenth. What day is today? It’s Wednesday. 4.Look at the picture and say : date, thirteenth, today, football 重点讲解学生不会的单词。 设计意图:培养学生的英语思维能力和理解能力。 III. Practice 1.Show some other pictures to help the student to understand the dialogue. 2.Teach the new words. Listen and repeat. Can you read and try to spell them?
