He stayed at home, drank tea, and watched TV.Grammar一般过去时（The Simple Past Tense） 一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态，常和表示过去的时间状语连用。一般过去时也表示过去经常或反复发生的动作。如: yesterday, last weekend, last Sunday等。也表示过去经常或反复发生的动作，常和often, always等表示频度的时间状语连用。例如:
I visited my grandparents last weekend.
I always went swimming in summer.
动词过去式变化规则1.一般在词尾加 —ed
eg. clean – cleaned stay — stayed
2.词尾是e的加-d
