My favorite Chinese festival

China has many traditional festivals every year. As for me, the Spring Festival is my favorite. It falls on the 1st day of the 1st lunar month.
Before the festival, my family usually clean and decorate the house, buy new clothes and put up Spring Festival couplets. We are so busy. During the Festival, we have a lot of delicious food every day. Among them, I like the dumplings made by my mother best. At night, My grandma tells my little sister the story of monster nian, father and I play the firework, “As the new year begins , let us also start anew”.All of the people make promises for the coming new year.
What’s more, I can get lucky money. It is the Chinese custom that the old will give children lucky money to wish a good luck. That’s why I like it most!
