T: If I bring you a seed, what will you bring me?
P: I will bring you…
“Brainstorming” method can activate students’ thoughts, then students would understand the notion of “bring” quickly.

1. First reading
Q1: How many people are there in the story?
2. Second reading
Q1: When is it?
Q2: Where are they?
Q3: Who are they?
T: I have some pictures, tell me, who is he?
Students look, listen and say.
Activity: Matching
T: Look at this picture, who is he?
3. Third reading
Q1: What’s the businessman like?
T: Today he brings some seeds. How many seeds?
T: He gives the seeds to the factory worker, the coach and the fisherman. Why?
T: What does the businessman say?
Find out the sentence and read it out.

Q1: What happens after three months? What do they bring?

Skimming and scanning can have students find out corresponding information efficiently. Questions set in advance can polish the process of a class. Moreover, these reading techniques can help students understand, analyze the text. Meanwhile, lead in the story by simple questions will be helpful in students’ whole understanding in the story.
