Teaching plan for the text of Unit4 How Daisy learned to help wildlife in BookII(the first classhour)
Teaching Goals
1. Try to understand and remember the new words and strengthen the words learned before. Try to understand the meaning and the structure of The Present Progressive Passive Voice.
2. Go on to talk about the topic:Wildlife Protecction. While reading the text, try to grasp the structure of the material and main idea of each paragraph.Then get the main idea of the reading material.
3. Help the students to express their feelings to animals and realize every can do something to help animals.
Important points
1. Help the students stand the meaning of the text and improve the ability of reading and solving problems.
2. While reading,try to learn words and the meaning of The Present Progressive Passive Voice.
Teaching methods
Encourage the students to teach themselves in advance about what will be learned in class. Try to solve the problems by themselves,in pairs or in groups. Then in class they will show the result of learning and with the help of the teacher,some difficult problems will be made clear.

Analysis of the students
The students in our school are different from those in the No.One Middle School.Their vocabulary is not large and they can not express their ideas very well.So more paience and encouragement are needed.I think more reading and speaking are a good way for them to learn English.

StepI.Revision
Go over some words and the part of warming up by reciting words and making sentences.
StepII.Leading in the text
In the part of Warming up,we have learned that in our country there are some endangered animals such as the panda,Milu deer,the tiger and so on .How lovely the animals are! More and more people have realised the importance of wildlife protection. A girl called Daisy is one of the peiple. Look, what is the topic of the text? She dreamed of a flying carpet,which could take her to go anywhere. Please read the text and let us fly with her together.
