It’s “mother”, “father”, “grandma’’ , “grandpa’’ , “brother’’ ,and “sister”. Let’s look at the picture. It’s sam’s family photo. If you were Sam, can you introduce your family members?“Look at this photo. Who is it?” T points Mrs. Smart on the photo. What does she do? This is Sam’s mother. She’s a teacher. This is what we’re learning today: jobs. To review Module 9 and lead into the new lesson.
新知呈现10’ Ss watch Video 1 and get the main idea. Ss answer the Daming’s parents’ jobs: policeman, nurse.Ss repeat the jobs. Ss role-play the passage. Ss watch Video 2, and learn: “He’s / She’s a…”Ss learn: He’s a doctor. Ss learn: She’s a driver. Ss learn: He’s a policeman. Ss learn: She’s a nurse. Ss: learn: He’s a farmer. Ss: learn: She’s a teacher. T: “Now Today Daming is at home. Watch the video and tell me “What does Daming’s father do? and What does Daming’s mother do?” Now let’s watch the video.” T takes word-cards “a policeman, and a nurse” one by one, guides Ss to repeat. At the same time, T sticks the words’ on the BB. T: “Now read after me: Look, look, a policeman!...” Role-play T: “Now let’s role play the dialogue. Who would like to be Daming? T plays Video 2.
