教材分析How many?一课是《新标准英语》教材三年级起点第一册第八模块第一单元的内容。本课学习如何询问数量，并回答。本课所学的内容主要有数字one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. 句型：how many？

基于以上教材及学生情况，将本课的目标设定为： 语言知识目标： 能理解How many，one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight 能感知数数时句中的语调 语言技能目标：
1) 能运用How many？询问数量，用1-8的英文形式作答。2 ) 能在实际生活中运用How many？并作答。 教学重点、难点: 1) 句子和单词的掌握：How many? One two three four five six seven eight 2) How many? 在实际生活中的运用及作答。

Task Teacher offers the students time to look around the classroom to find numbers 1-8 in order to encourage the students to talk about the things in the daily life. Ss talk about the things in daily life by using key words and sentence. 引导学生运用所学句型和单词讨论生活中的事物。
