苹果正从楼梯上掉下来！现在进行时用法：
主语+ be+ doing sth. 表示现在正在发生的事情。
注意：
因为主语是复数形式，所以be 动词用are。stair 楼梯( 常复)stair 表示“楼梯的一级”，表示“楼梯”时常用复数。mess 肮脏，凌乱in a mess 杂乱不堪，一团糟Her hair is in a mess.What a mess! 真乱啊！
以“what”开头的感叹句，句尾省略了“it is”。
这句话是对某种混乱状态的抱怨。感叹句句型结构：
What (+a/an) + 形容词+ 名词(+ 主语+谓语)!
注意：
感叹句后面的“主语+ 谓语”通常是省略的，
