【教材分析】
经过第一课时的学习,初步的感知了本单元的学习重难点。Fun time是一个游戏活动,要求学生运用本单元句型How much …来询问物品的价格。Cartoon time讲述了Bobby为Tina买蝴蝶结的小故事,因为Tina的尾巴长,所以Bobby买了十个蝴蝶结,Tina收到礼物后很开心。其中要求学生掌握并熟练运用句型购物:Can I help you ? How many would you like ?等。
【教学目标】
知识目标
1.进一步熟练掌握本课词汇shoes, socks, umbrella, fan, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty以及日常交际用语Can I help you? How much is it/are they? It’s/They’re … Yuan. Well done!。
2.能正确理解、朗读Cartoon time中的故事,能读懂其中的趣味之处,在教师的引导和训练下,养成良好的阅读习惯。
3.能熟练运用本单元所学的词句购物。
能力目标
1.能熟练运用本单元交际用语。
2.进一步提高自主阅读能力。
情感目标
让学生从小就有一颗爱心。
【学情分析】
1.学生已经学过数字类的单词。
2.学生已能用英语进行义卖活动。
3.本课时需熟练运用交际用语,朗读故事。
【教学重点】
1.能正确理解、朗读Cartoon time中的故事,能读懂其中的趣味之处,在教师的引导和训练下,养成良好的阅读习惯。
2.能熟练运用本单元所学的句型购物。
【教学难点】
培养学生养成良好的阅读习惯,提高学生灵活运用语言的能力。

1.常规预习:跟录音读一读Cartoon time 理解意思。

Step 1 Greetings & Warm up
Greetings & Free talk
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Miss Ge.
T: How are you today?
Ss: I’m fine, thank you.
T: Hello, your coat is cool, how much is it?
S1: It is...
T: Wow, your shoes are very nice, how much are they?

(设计意图:课前的相互问好和自由谈话能够快速拉近师生距离,同时也能够将学生的注意力尽快转移到课堂上来)
2. Guessing game
T: Boys and girls, I have something here, but they are hidden by some leaves, can you help me, let’s figure them out together, ok?
Ss: Ok.
1. shoes
T: They can help you to walk well.
S1: They are shoes.
T: How much are they?
S2: They are five yuan.
Socks
T: They can keep your feet warm, what is it?
S1: They are socks.
T: How much are they?
S2: They are four yuan.
An umbrella
T: It can help you protect against the rain, what is it?
S1: It is an umbrella.
T: How much is it?
S2: It is nineteen yuan.
4.A fan
T: It can help you feel cool in summer, what is it?
S1: It is a fan.
T: How much is it?
S2: It is twelve yuan.
(设计意图:通过遮挡图片引起学生的好奇心,引导学生猜测图片内容,同时复习了询问价格的说法及回答,猜测的物品恰好是story time中的义卖物品,自然过渡到story time的课文复习。)
3. Look and say
(教师呈现guessing game里面的物品)
T: They are bought by our friends on a charity sale? Do you remember it? Now, let’s go back to the charity sale and see carefully.
Ss: 根据书本图片复述story time课文。
T: Let’s read the story together.
Ss: 学生齐读课文。
(设计意图:呈现图片,让学生回忆story time的内容,结合图片更易回忆和记住书本知识。)
Step 2 Fun time
1. Quick response
T: You did a very good job, now it’s relaxing time.
T: Boys and girls, do you like games?
Ss: Yes.
T: Good, now let’s play a game:
(Rules: If you see numbers, say the numbers out; if you see
objects, say the objects out; if you see say “Well done”; if you see say “Bomb”.)
(设计意图:通过快速反应游戏,学生能够复习之前所学的新单词和复习之前已经学习过的单词:twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, umbrella, fan, shoes, 学生在快乐的游戏中复习新单词,寓教于乐,提高了学生的学习兴趣,同时通过快速反应中的数字进一步引导学生观察英文数字规律,承上启下。)
2. Let’s Learn
T: Here are some numbers. Can you read them together?
(PPT呈现13-19数字和英文单词)
Ss: thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen
T: Look at them carefully, can you find some common letters among them?
Ss: 他们都有共同字母teen
T: Yes, they all have “teen”. ( PPT出中文)
Look at these words. Can you read?
T: Can you read them together?
(PPT呈现20-50数字和英文单词)
Ss: twenty, thirty, forty, fifty
T: Can you find the rules?

T: So, can you read this number?
(先出示数字60、70、80、90,让学生试着说英文)
T: Try to read these words.
(逐个出示数字21、33、56,79、95和英文,全班齐读)
T: Can you find the rules?

(先出示数字24、65、76、42、98,让学生自己试着读出英文)
Guess and say
T: Now, we can numbers very well. And we can use the numbers
to ask prices. Look at these prices, let’s read them together.
Ss: five yuan, eight yuan, fifteen yuan, twenty yuan...
T: Look, I have some things. How much are they? Let’s guess.
(请三位同学上讲台和老师一起玩猜价格的游戏。课前请每位同学准备3张卡片,正面画服饰类图,反面写价格。手持卡片的同学提问,其余三人猜价格,每人一次机会,猜对的同学赢得卡片。如果一轮无人猜对,卡片归提问的同学。最后获得卡片最多的同学获胜。)
T: Do you understand? Let’s play the game in groups of four. Ask and answer the prices.
(学生四人一组玩游戏,每组选出获胜的同学。老师再请四位获胜的同学上讲台再玩一次游戏。)

Step 3 Cartoon time
1. Watch and choose
(呈现Bobby和Sam在商店的图片)
T: Who are they? Ss: Bobby and Sam.
T: Where are they? S1: In the shop.
T: How do you know?
S2: 通过Can I help you?这句话可以知道,因为店员一般开始都会说这句话。
T: You are so clever. But what would Bobby like? How many would Bobby like? Now, let’s watch the cartoon and choose.

(设计意图:呈现Bobby和Sam在商店的图片,教师引导学生一步一步思考,最后自己找出他们是在商店购物的线索。然后总体感知课文,回答两个宏观的问题。从义卖到商店购物,从杨玲、刘涛、迈克购物到Bobby和Sam购物,上下紧密联系。)
2. Read and find
T: Bobby is a boy, why does Bobby buy these bowknots? Please read the story silently and find the answer, please underline the sentence.
(学生先和同座位讨论交流答案,然后教师提问)
T: Who can tell me who are these bowknots for?
S1: They are for my sister Tina.
(老师带读They are for my sister Tina. 并翻译,此处要向学生说明for是“为了”的意思)
T: Why does Tina need ten bowknots?
S2: Her tail is long.
(教师结合图片教授her, tail和long, 多次带读Her tail is long.并翻译)
(设计意图:再次详读课文,让学生查找细节内容,帮助学生更好地理解故事大意,发现cartoon time的乐趣之处,激发学生的阅读兴趣。)

(播放录音,学生跟读,并提醒他们注意模仿语调和语气,特别是Sam奇怪的语气和Tina 高兴的语气)

(学生四人一小组分角色朗读课文,然后全班一起分角色朗读,比比哪一小组读的最棒。)

(设计意图:有感情的朗读课文并表演有助于进一步巩固课堂所学,让学生在和谐愉快的氛围中学习英语。)
Step 4 拓展训练:
1.让学生总结出购物时营业员和顾客所说的话,并招聘营业员。
2.教师提前在教室内布置四个商店,服装店、玩具店、食品店、百货店,让学生上台买商品,每人必须要买来一件商品。
