学情分析:四年级的小学生已经有了一年多的英语基础,在教学上比三年级要容易些。大部分同学在课堂表现都比较积极,活跃。但由于四年级的学生都处于十岁左右,注意力很难长时间集中,所以在教学中要多采用图片、歌曲、游戏等比较有趣的形式来吸引他们的注意力,这样才能达到良好的教学效果。?
教学准备:交通工具和地点图片、多媒体、录音机。?
教学过程:?

设计意图:通过简单的问候和学过的英语歌曲来热身,降低学生的紧张情绪,提高学生的学习积极性,并且了解学生的大致居住范围,了解离学校距离的远近。?
Step2:?New?Concepts。?
出示学校卡片以及近处和远处的两所房子。?
If?you?live?here,?it’s?“near”.?
If?you?live?there,?it’s?“far”.?
So?different?students?have?different?ways?to?go?to?school,?today?we?will?talk?about“How?do?you?go?to?school?”.?
首先提问距离比较远的同学。
通过提问“How?do?you?go?to?school?”?
引导学生说出自己不同的出行方式。如:?“by?bus”,“by?car”,“by?bike”,“by?taxi”...?
再次提问距离比较近的同学“How?do?you?go?to?school?”,看看他们是如何到达学校。如“by?bike”,“Walk?to?school.”????
再次提示学生“Walk?to?school.”也可以用“on?foot”表示。引出新知识。反复领读“on?foot”。强调其他出行方式用“by”表示,只有步行用“on”。?
设计意图:通过看图片和提问的形式,让学生回答出自己曾经学过的出行方式,又学习了新知识“on?foot”。反复练习,加深印象,为下一步学习课文做好铺垫。?

设计意图:在对出行方式熟练掌握的基础上来学习课文,采用跟读,分角色,小组表演等形式来学习,即学习了知识,又提高了学生的英语会话能力。?

设计意图:本环节是本课知识的延伸,让学生即会表达上学校的方式,也会表达自己去其他地点的方式,在游戏环节,学生很自然地说出课本以外的出行方式,如“by?train”,?“by?plain”,是学习能力的提高,也使学生真正地会在生活中用英语。?Step?5:?Conclusion.??出示环境的图片。让学生了解环境保护的重要性。从而提出问题“What?can?we?do?”??设计意图:通过课堂学习让学生自己总结自己的心得感受,由于四年级学生词汇量有限,所以可用英语,也可用汉语,使学生有环保意识,要绿色出行。?
