译林出版社义务教育教科书《英语》五年级上册 Unit4 Hobbies 第四课时Sound time+ Checkout time(Think and write)+ Ticking time
二、教材分析
本单元的话题是谈论爱好,主要功能为引导学生掌握“What do you like doing? I like doing…”等日常交际用语。内容贴近我们的实际生活,注重社会交往和文化渗透,能够体现《英语课程标准》的人文性和工具性。在教学中,教师应尽可能地创设与实际生活相似的场景,引导学生运用本单元所学内容谈论爱好。在学生熟练听说的基础上,鼓励学生在日常生活中经常运用所学内容。
三、教学目标

2. I know the sound of the letter “y”.

Step1. Revision and Song time
1. Present the learning aims of this lesson
【设计意图】
通过呈现本节课的学习目标,学生能明白“我要谈论爱好”。这样在目标的牵引下,学生更能投入到课堂学习中,并培养自身的目标意识。
2. Free talk
【设计意图】
通过师生对话引出课题Hobbies,教师设问What do I like doing? Can you guess? 引导学生运用已学句型Do you like doing…?提问,从而引出教师的爱好cooking和shopping。
T: I like shopping because I like beautiful clothes. Look! I’m wearing a nice
coat. What colour do I like?
Ss: Do you like yellow?
T: Yes, I like yellow best. Who is wearing yellow today?
3. Let’s sing the song Who is wearing yellow today?
T: In our class, who is wearing yellow today? Please stand up.
T: (S1) Do you like yellow? S: Yes, I do.
T: Here’s a bookmark for you. Because we like the same colour.
T: (S2) What colour does she/he like? S: She/He likes yellow.
Today this girl is wearing yellow too.

通过歌曲的演唱和关于yellow的交流呈现我的朋友Lily为下面教学环节铺垫。
Step2. Sound time
T: Who’s the girl? She’s my friend, Lily. Do you want to know Lily?
You can ask some questions about her.
Ss ask and answer.
T: Let’s ask Lily “Do you like wearing yellow?”.
Ss read the rhyme after the tape four times.
【设计意图】
通过问答呈现Lily喜爱的食物(yogurt)、玩具(yo-yo)、动物(yak)和颜色(yellow),让学生感知以y开头的单词。通过反复朗读,帮助学生形成良好的语感。
Ss read the words with the letter “y” and try to find the sound of the letter “y”.
【设计意图】
给学生充分的练习机会,从而帮助他们在读的过程中努力自主建构字母y在单词中的读音及其发音规律。
Ss recall all the words they have learnt with the /j/ sound.

回忆学过的具有相同发音的单词,帮助学生进一步总结字母y在词首的发音规律并进行归纳。
T presents the words with the /j/ sound and encourages Ss to read and make up some sentences in groups.

运用字母y的发音规律认读新单词并造句,可帮助学生体会到学习英语的实效性。

根据具体的评价标准进行自我评价或小组互评,可以让学生更加明确本板块知识点要掌握的程度。

【设计意图】
No.1介绍自己的爱好,No.2介绍No.1的爱好,然后再介绍自己的爱好,以此类推,接龙表达。这一小组活动让学生充分操练了本单元的重点语法句型,真正激活了学生的已知,为他们创造了输出语言的机会,同时为下一环节的写做了充分的铺垫。
