【课前准备】
常规预习。
（1）、听磁带3遍，大声朗读第五单元课文3遍，并翻译课文。
（2）、了解三位名人：杨红樱、王进喜、叶欣。
预习导学：
（1）、people 的用法
people 表示“人，人们”，复数。
例:How many people can you see ? 你能看到多少人？
（2）、在动词词尾加后缀-er,可以构成名词。
如：teach----teacher(教师),work----worker（工人）,
play----player(表演者),sing----singer(歌手)，
在动词词尾加后缀- r,可以构成名词。
write----writer(作家)。
词组积累：
①teach English 教英语 ② a lot of students 许多学生
③what about 怎么样 ④an English teacher 一名英语老师
⑤write stories 写故事 ⑥ work at home 在家工作
⑦help sick people 帮助生病的人 ⑧a factory worker 工厂工人
