John Snow Defeats “King Cholera”
John Snow (1813-1858) was born and worked as a doctor in Great Britain. He was originally an anaesthetist (麻醉师).
Background
What do you know about infectious diseases?
a kind of infectious diseases
spread from one person to another.
What do you know about cholera?
It is a kind of terrible disease caused by drinking dirty water and it caused a lot of deaths in the old times and it was very difficult to defeat.

John Snow was a well-known doctor in London.
The cause of Cholera was polluted water.
The source of all drinking water should be examined.
